Rental unit in Hurdal

A lovely place for singles/couples or families who want to stay in a unique basement apartment right by Hurdalsjøen. Exit right out into the garden with Hurdal's most beautiful trees, fruit trees, free-range chickens, and 50 meters to a nice swimming area with beach. You can use our canoe or two kayaks and paddle on the lake, or use the place as a starting point for what Hurdal has to offer in the winter. Double bed in the living room (160 cm), and bunk beds in the adjacent room. The space We live in a detached house from 1950, located on a large and beautiful plot where we grow food, have free-range chickens, a large greenhouse and fruit and berries. You can use the garden and our outdoor shower if you want, as well as borrow a canoe or kayaks for paddling on Hurdalsjøen. The house is under renovation outdoors, so please be lenient with that. The basement is newly renovated, but that doesn't mean the furniture is new. On the contrary, we have reuse as a goal and aesthetic expression, so here you will only find older furniture and other fixtures. The bathroom is decorated with a bench made of a stone staircase, and in the shower you will find an old copper shower. The kitchen was bought at Finn and assembled in a creative way. This is the place for you who appreciate the natural and genuine, the old and the new mixed together with joy, and not with an IKEA catalog as a model. Guest access You rent our basement, which is furnished as an apartment with a living room, kitchen, shower and toilet. In the living room there is a large dining table with chairs, a lovely armchair and sofa that becomes a comfortable double bed of 160 cm when unfolded and with a thick mattress on top. In adjacent rooms, separated by curtains, there are bunk beds and a crib for children. Here you will also find a wardrobe, slatted wall and exercise bike, as this is usually a combined bedroom and exercise room for grandchildren. All walls in the basement are painted with clay and lime paint, and the floors are in wood with heating cables underneath. This makes the indoor climate very good and natural. In the living room you will find an absolutely incredible wood stove that you can also cook on, and in the kitchen there is a gas stove. Other things to note There is no door between the living room and bedroom, they are separated by thick curtains. There is an exit directly from the living room out into the terrain, so it is the perfect place for you who cannot walk stairs.
