Stay in our beautiful architecturally designed cabin in amongst the forest and enjoy the peace and tranquility of Woodford in the Blue Mountains. Take it easy and relax at this unique and tranquil getaway within a declared Wildlife Refuge overlooking a fern filled gully and the National Park. The space Forest Glen Cabin is wonderful comfortable getaway. Ideal for anyone who might want to do some bushwalking or just relax on the deck in amongst a native forest and watch the local birds or the occasional swamp wallaby or black cockatoo. With bushwalks and waterfalls a plenty and with the train station so nearby you can train it to anywhere in the Blue Mountains. Use the house as a base to visit Blue Mountains towns such as Katoomba, Leura, and Blackheath. With a local café 20 Mile Hollow just around the corner and shops a short drive away, Forest Glen Cabin offers a tranquil and serene escape not very far off the beaten track. Only a five-minute ride to the renown Oaks Woodford to Glenbrook fire trail and mountain bike track for those wanting use the cabin as a base for Mountain biking. Cabin comforts include a combustion fire, air conditioning, fully equipped kitchen, outdoor deck and BBQ. Guest access Access the cabin off Forest Glen Road from the pathway on the right immediately after crossing the little bridge on Forest Glen Road. Park your car on the opposite side of the pathway and road. You'll see the cabin from the road. Follow the pathway down which veers off to the right and the the cabin. Other things to note Being a Wildlife Refuge pets are not permitted. The property is not suitable for young children as it has a number of exposed cliff drops. Registration Details PID-STRA-86448
