For the water sport enthusiasts, you can go to Loch Morlich, Loch Insh or the River Spey, and all are within an easy drive. Newtonmore is just 6 miles away, where you will find a small range of restaurants, bars and shops, with a wider range available in the bustling town of Aviemore only 22 miles away. In Newtonmore, you can enjoy a visit to the Highland Folk Museum, which brings to life the domestic and working conditions of the earlier Highland people. Take a trip on the Cairngorm mountain funicular railway, visit the Cairngorm Reindeer Centre or the Highland Wildlife Park at nearby Kingussie. Children and adults alike will love a visit to the Landmark Forest Adventure Park in Carrbridge, a day filled with fun and activity for all the family.
