The Blickins-free is an old accordion factory in the woods of the upper Vogtland, which we lovingly renovated after my creative inspiration. We rent the Blickins-free - cabin to guests who like it simple & rustic and want to do without a tent. It also serves as an extra bed for the loft. This is slowing down as it is better not to experience it. The space The cabin is an old renovated barn that has a wood-burning stove. Firewood is provided. With the oven you can heat the living area in the back half of the cabin, but of course it has to be permanently heated, since the barn has no thermal insulation. The living area is separated by a heat protection curtain. The sleeping floor and the entrance area of the barn are only indirectly heated and are to be considered rather cool. Therefore, warm winter sleeping bags are absolutely necessary, as the beds are only equipped with wool blankets, sheets and pillows. So the oven has to be stoked all day in winter, then you have a cozy atmosphere in the cabin. The kitchen corner is located in the front part of the barn during the winter months and has a professional 2 burner gas cooker, refrigerator, kettle and a simple crockery & cooking equipment. In summer, kitchen is located on the terrace next to the outdoor barn. Fresh water / drinking water is available in the guest bathroom/toilet. The guest bathroom is located in the main building, about 15m away. In winter, the dishes must also be washed there. In the summer months, there is also a compost toilet, a hot water and solar shower at the back of the cabin as well as a large dishwasher. Please keep in mind that this tourist offer is adventurous and it's a simple barn. You should feel like this form of glamping and in rare cases it can happen that a mouse crosses your path. For frostbite, a winter vacation in the cabin is certainly not the right match. Feel free to ask before booking! For everyone else, get involved in a kind of mountain hut adventure, which also has luxurious additional services through sauna or hot tub, which makes the stay an experience even in winter what you can't forget so quickly:-) The beds are available as a large wide bed for a maximum of 5 people upstairs of the cabin. They are furnished with fresh sheets, pillow and wool blankets. You're sure to need a sleeping bag. In winter, it is absolutely warm sleeping bags, as the sleeping area is only heated indirectly. In front of the oven, there is a sofa bed, which can be converted into an additional bed. Attention families: The beds are located on the first floor of the barn, which can be reached by a steep stair. Tourist tax of EUR 1.50 per person per person & night applies. This must be settled in cash upon arrival. Please keep in mind, no credit or giro cards can be accepted. Important for us: No smoking in the cabin; no alcohol or party exits, respect for the lovingly restored property and much more important, respect for the nature we live in. Tipping in the garden or garbage is an absolute no go. In addition, something very important: Since there has been more recent damage to the fruit tree and flower beds in the garden due to children playing, I would like to point out once again that playing football in the garden is prohibited. This can be done in Zwota on the sports field. In addition, we care about nature and especially the bio-diversity. For these reasons, there are also many unsewn areas and various flower corners in our garden. These areas cannot be entered, this is almost insect land :-) Please discuss this with your children that there are no misunderstandings. Thank you for understanding and support that nature is protected in this wonderful place. All guests must wash their used dishes, pots and all other items upon check out. Extra bed in the house is available on request. In addition, we rent a charcoal grill for a fee, which must be reserved in advance. Without advance reservation, the grill may not be available. For the evening we charge a Fee of 5 euros. Please bring charcoal. (Since other guests can also book the wellness offers in view, but there is only one sauna and hot tub, a reservation should be made in a timely manner or availability is requested before booking. Sauna as well as Hot Tub should be booked 1 day before your scheduled use. Payment is made together with the tourist tax in cash on site.)
