The space Welcome to a spacious and inviting cabin with a fantastic location in the Sunnmørsalpene and panoramic views of parts of Strandafjellet Ski Resort. The living room is the cabin's natural gathering place – large, airy and with an open solution to the kitchen. Here, the entire travel party can gather around the dining table with space for 14 people. If needed, there are extra tables and chairs. The large window surfaces let nature in and provide a lovely view all year round. The living room is equipped with a 55" Smart TV and wireless surround sound system for a real cinematic feeling after a long day out. The kitchen is modern and very well equipped – perfect for everything from simple breakfasts to party dinners. Here you will find two ovens (one with microwave function), induction cook top, dishwasher and combined fridge and freezer. In addition, a food processor, coffee maker, air fryer, waffle iron, toaster and kettle are ready for use. The cabinets are filled with what you need of pans, pots and kitchen utensils, and basics such as salt, pepper and oil are available. Two high chairs are available if needed. The cabin has two delicate bathrooms as well as a separate toilet. Bathroom 1 contains shower, toilet, sink and washing machine. Bathroom 2 offers a shower, bathtub, double sink and toilet – and from here you have direct access to a large jacuzzi with space for 7–8 people. Perfect for relaxation under the open sky after a day in the ground or in the mountains. Both bathrooms are equipped with wireless Sonos speakers for an extra comfortable experience. The attic room serves as an extra living room – ideal for both adults and children. Here you will find a 55" Smart TV with surround sound system, comfortable sofa, bean bag and armchair. A separate dining table with space for 6 people makes the room perfect for board games, card games or quiet evenings. The table can also be used as a workplace, if you want to bring your work to the mountains. The sofa bed can easily be screened with a curtain if the room is used as a bedroom. The entrance has slate floors with heating cables – very convenient for drying ski clothes and other equipment. From here there is access to the loft and to the toilet, which is located just inside the front door, before you go further into the open and inviting living room. The terrace extends around half the cabin and provides good sun conditions throughout the day in the summer months. The covered part to the west provides shade and warm evenings, while the sun corner to the south with five comfortable armchairs invites you to relax from morning to evening. On the terrace you will also find a fire pan – perfect for grilling sausages, gathering the gang and enjoying the good cabin atmosphere. Here, everything is set for memorable experiences – whether you want active days in the mountains or quiet evenings with views, warmth and good company. Only 100 meters from the cabin you can strap on your skis or snowboard and enjoy the amazing snow conditions on Strandafjellet. In the summer months, the area offers an almost unlimited selection of fantastic hiking opportunities – whether you prefer quiet mountain hikes, airy top tours or nature experiences for the whole family. With relatively short drives you also have access to some of Vestlandet and Sunnmøre's most spectacular destinations. In addition to everything that Sunnmørsalpene offers, Ålesund, Geiranger, Stryn, Åndalsnes, Fuglefjellet on Runde and Loen are well within reach for memorable day trips. *The cabin is brand new, and we kindly ask for your understanding that some construction materials are still on the property.* Guest access The entire cabin except for the private wardrobe/laundry room will be available for use. Larger groups with longer stays can access this room for storage and extra washing machines for laundry. Other things to note Bed linen and towels are included, but guests must make the beds themselves. This is so that no more beds are made than necessary by the cleaning service, as the cabin is often prepared for new guests weeks in advance. Anything used should be placed in the correct laundry baskets when the stay is over. Fireplace and fire pit can be freely used, and we will do our best to have wood available, but this is not guaranteed.
