Country house at the foot of the Pyrenees

Passed down through generations since the 19th century, this authentic country house is a true haven of conviviality. Ideal for gatherings with family or friends, it invites sharing, relaxation, and outdoor activities, whatever the season. The space This charming old farmhouse offers 200 m² of living space, designed to comfortably accommodate 10 people. It features a spacious living area combining an open-plan kitchen, a dining room, a lounge and a library corner: perfect for spending time together. On the ground floor, the house also features a master bedroom with a walk-in wardrobe and en-suite bathroom (shower and bath), a bathroom, a toilet and a utility room. Upstairs, you’ll find two separate bedrooms, a dormitory sleeping four with a games area, a bathroom with a toilet and a study area. A large adjoining barn is at your disposal, equipped with table football, a basketball hoop and bicycles. Outside, a 2,000 m² plot offers the ideal setting for games, relaxation and al fresco dining. A barbecue completes the facilities. Guest access The house is situated in the commune of Lanne, just 7 minutes from Lourdes-Tarbes Airport and 15 minutes from the train stations in Lourdes and Tarbes, with easy access to the valleys of Bagnères-de-Bigorre and Argelès-Gazost. It enjoys a prime location, close to the legendary mountain passes of the Pyrenees (Col du Tourmalet, Aspin, Aubisque, etc.), ski resorts (Hautacam, La Mongie, Barèges, Luz Ardiden), renowned spa towns (Bagnères-de-Bigorre, Cauterets, …) and numerous hiking trails suitable for all levels. You can also explore exceptional natural sites listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites, such as the Cirque de Gavarnie or the Pont d’Espagne: true gems of the Hautes-Pyrénées. You will also be a short distance from the Sanctuary of Lourdes, an iconic place of pilgrimage and contemplation, easily accessible from the house. Other things to note As part of our commitment to environmental awareness, bed linen is available as an optional extra at an additional cost: - €15 per double bed - €10 per single bed - €5 per set of towels (including one large and one small towel) Tea towels, bath mats and hand towels are provided. Regarding cleaning, we ask that you carry out a basic clean of the accommodation at the end of your stay. However, if you wish, a cleaning service costing €150 can be added. We also provide baby equipment free of charge: high chair, bouncer (standard and bath), changing table and early learning toys.
