Tynewydd Cwt - A homely Hut for Country Escape

Tynewydd Cwt is located on the edge of the pretty village of Penybont. This cosy hut has a private hot tub to relax and unwind in comfort, in the beautiful landscape of Mid Wales. Explore the Radnor Forest, Elan Valley, Cambrian Mountains. Walking, cycling, horse riding, bird watching, fishing and stargazing can all be enjoyed in the area. Spend time in the Victorian Spa town of Llandrindod Wells and other quaint and pretty towns such as Rhayader, Builth Wells, Knighton and Kington. The space The hut has one double bed with oak headboard and shelving. Space for storing travel bags under the bed. There is also a small area for storage/hanging clothes in a nook by the bathroom. The hut bathroom has a toilet, mirror, electric towel rail and simple to use shower. An LPG Gas boiler is situated outside the property for automatic heating of water to hand basin, kitchen sink and shower. The hut has an extra long worktop/ breakfast bar and stools for dining in the kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a fridge with small freezer box in base unit cupboard, integrated microwave/grill in wall unit, Domino Induction Hob with two burners on worktop. Underfloor heating and wood burner. External: Private enclosed garden, with countryside views, primarily laid with gravel and stone. Outside picnic bench. Bed linen and towels provided. WIFI Smart TV Parking onsite. Welcome basket. Pets not accepted. No smoking. 5 minutes walk to pub Approximately 20 minutes drive to Elan Valley Less than 1 hour scenic drive to Bannau Brycheiniog Guest access Entire hut Other things to note Please note we need access to check the hot tub daily, usually in the morning when you are out. If the water in the hot tub has been changed that day it may not be ready on your arrival, but later on that evening, or even the next day. This property can be booked in conjunction with Tynewydd Bach (our 1 bedroom lodge also on site) to accommodate another 2 adults.
