The space This listing is for our a private booking of the entire 15-acre property, including all 3 homes with detailed listings below. HIGHLIGHTS • Breathtaking views from all 3 homes • 15 acres to explore, including a private rocky beach on Kootenay Lake and, in the summer, a majestic waterfall • The best hot tub (views) you'll find in Nelson • All beds have brand new luxury bedding. • Replaced all older mattresses with brand new Endy mattresses • The highest quality drinking water - we have installed built-in reverse osmosis water filtration (with remineralization) in all homes • We can help arrange catering, massages, yoga, or anything else to help craft the ultimate experience for your group. THE HOMES THE CHALET (Sleeps 7; 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms) The chalet is a luxury 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom space. A chef’s kitchen, complete with stainless steel appliances, a gas range, three sinks, and a large island, is the heart of the house. Down the stairs is a solarium with floor to ceiling windows and plenty of skylights. A large dining table is here–enjoy your dinner with a view. Just beyond the kitchen is the living room. Two-storey vaulted ceilings, comfortable chairs and couches, and a gas fireplace make it a cozy haven. The 3-piece bathroom rounds out the main floor. The open concept upper floor is ideal for couples or families. An alcove with a trundle bed is at the top of the stairs. A small, windowless bedroom is in the hallway to the master bedroom. Though small and windowless, this space is noise insulated and is a great choice for noise sensitive sleepers or for children. The open-concept master bedroom and bathroom combination round out the top floor. The master bathroom features a freestanding soaker tub that looks out at the mountains, along with a walk-in shower with two shower heads and a double sink vanity. Reading nooks flank both sides of the master bedroom. A wraparound deck complete with patio furniture and an umbrella provides the perfect place to watch the sun rise each morning. Sleeping arrangements • Main floor bedroom: 1 Queen bed. • Upstairs bedroom 1: 1 King bed. Please note: this bedroom does not have a door. • Upstairs bedroom 2: 1 single bed. Please note: this room is located directly outside the main upstairs bedroom. It is small and windowless but has noise cancelling insulation. Ideal for children or light sleepers. • Upstairs space 3: 1 twin over twin trundle bed. Please note: this bed is located in an alcove by the stairway. It does not have a door. The lower level features an open concept kitchen, dining, living, and entertainment area. The small but well stocked kitchen features a bar top that opens to the living area. Windows line the walls of the dining area, making it the ideal place to gather around the large farm style table and take in the stunning views. Curl up by the wood stove in the living room on the comfortable couch. A pool table and a dart board round out the entertainment space. A 3-piece bathroom and laundry facilities are just behind the pool table. One bedroom is on the main floor. The upper level has a multi-use space perfect for yoga, which can be unlocked upon request. The remaining three bedrooms are on this floor, as well as a 4-piece bathroom with a clawfoot bathtub. Sleeping arrangements • Main floor bedroom: 1 Queen sized bed. Please note: this room does not have windows, making it a great choice for light-sensitive people. • Upstairs bedroom 1: 1 Queen sized bed. • Upstairs bedroom 2: 1 Queen sized bed. • Upstairs bedroom 3: 2 double beds and 1 single day bed. It features an open concept kitchen, dining, and living area designed to showcase the breathtaking views of the mountains and lake. The washer and dryer are located in a closet near the kitchen. The building has a front and back deck. Sleeping arrangements • Main bedroom: Queen sized Murphy bed. • Second bedroom: Queen sized Murphy bed. • Living room: Queen size pullout sofa bed. Between the cottage and the lodge, a private 7-person hot tub overlooks the mountains and the lake. There is no better place to soak in the view than from here. To the right of the chalet is a graded forest area made for ceremonies. Seasonal flower and vegetable gardens lie beyond. In its entirety, the property is 15 acres of forested land. Through the forest is a marked trail that leads to a private beach on Kootenay Lake. Only our property has access to this area–enjoy! Other things to note For your safety and ours, external security cameras are installed on the side of the Lodge. These cameras monitor the driveway of the property only and do not cover any private areas such as the interior. Guests must descend stairs in order to gain access to the chalet.
