Cozy Chilterns country getaway close to London for those seeking relaxation, beautiful open skies, walks, in a spacious, quaint, beautifully appointed, eclectically styled thatched cottage. Meadle is a gorgeous little hamlet and community a short drive from local towns, pubs and amenities. This is our home and our adorable lady cat Juniper, and a pond full of fish come with your stay! We ask you to feed them during your stay! No dogs allowed im afraid. Our lady cat is a scaredy cat!l The space This quintessential thatched cottage was a pub called The Three Horseshoes in the 50s. The original cottage is over 500 years old, and has since had a barn conversion and extension, creating a very spacious 3000 sqft cozy and comfortable home. This is our home where we live. We Airbnb it when we're away. We are eclectic ex Londoners and have proudly decorated our home to make it cozy and comfy. Large garden with a pond. Please feed the fish every 3 days! And our tiny old lady cat, Juniper, will be at home to welcome you. Please feed her twice a day. Four large bedrooms with 1 x super king, 1 king, 2 x queen beds, two bathrooms with baths, a third with a shower. Plus an extra downstairs loo. Huge living room. A kids snug. Two kitchens and a dining room. Outdoor covered seating/dining area. Lots of fabulous local walks, cozy pubs, farm shops, even a converted horse box sauna and plunge experience two mins up the road at Orchard View Farm. We will provide a map with local footpath routes. Close to local market town, Thame, and larger towns Princes Risborough and Aylesbury for all the amenities you could need. Recommendations available for the local area - just ask for what you're looking for/interested in. Guest access Depending how many guests you are we may lock one bedroom or the snug and put a few valuables away for safekeeping. Other things to note This is our home. We only rent it when we're away. Please treat it with respect and kindness.
