Once you are settled in, you can certainly leave the car for a while: the shops are within a 5-minute walk, as well as the history of the Great War, the ponds of the Somme, and the old ramparts in which there are nice walks to take. A children's playground, as well as a mini-golf and tree climbing course is a 3-minute walk away, with a beautiful view of the historic building and the pond it overlooks.
