The space Welcome to Tumbledown Cottage There’s nothing quite like climbing the steps to Tumbledown Cottage and breathing in the soft, sweet fragrance of the roses. Step inside our charming 1800s historic cottage, a former dairy and coach house in the heart of Crick village. This cosy retreat blends beautiful period character with modern comforts – from the unique sunken basement snug with flat‑screen TV to our bright, well‑equipped kitchen space. Please note: There is no permanent oven, hob or cooker. We provide an air fryer, microwave, kettle and toaster for your use; disposable barbecues are also available to buy from the village Co‑op nearby. Unwind in the twin and small double bedrooms, or relax in your own private courtyard garden. You’re just steps from the Grand Union Canal, Crick Marina, and lovely countryside walks. We offer free on‑street parking and free Wi‑Fi. Within moments you’ll find welcoming village pubs, Co‑op, post office, Indian restaurant, and the wonderful Pickle & Pie deli – making this the perfect base for heritage lovers, walkers, canal visitors, and countryside explorers alike.
