Nonnetjie Cottage

Nonnetjie sleeps 4 in 2-bedrooms. The main has a queen bed, bathtub & discreetly placed toilet. The second room has twin beds. There is an outdoor bbq, patios on both sides, a wood-fired splash pool & an outdoor shower and toilet. The unit has parking. The space 360on62 has 360 degree mountain views. Our cottages (carefully restored laborer cottages) offer simple elegance, taking guests back to bygone days but without compromising on comfort. NONNETJIE Cottage sleeps 4. The main room has a queen bed, Victorian bathtub and a discreet toilet behind reed-clad walls. The second room has twin beds (convertible to a king-sized bed). The cottage has a kitchenette and lounge area with an indoor fireplace. There is an outdoor braai and patio with table & chairs on one side and a comfortable relaxation patio and outdoor shower and toilet on the other. The unit has a lovely outdoor splash pool that can also be heated using a wood-fired oven. Nonnetjie stands side-by-side with Bokmakierie Cottage. Guest access Guest cottages are situated 150m from the main farmhouse and not visible from there. Each cottage has its own facilities, including braai/barbecue and an outdoor area to relax. All guests have access to: - the pool and Lapa (where braai/barbecue facilities may also be used) - the wood-fired hot tub next to our dam (may need to be booked in busier times) - picnic / seating / braai/barbecue area next to the dam - the dam itself and our canoe and kayak - a pizza oven at our "pizza bar" - a 5km trail run on the farm - the entire farm...guests are welcome to go for walks around the entire farm The main house and garage are private as is the barn where tractors and farm equipment is stored for safety reasons. Other things to note All of our cottages offer very comfortable beds, quality linen, indoor fireplaces, well equipped kitchenettes, outdoor barbecue / braai areas as well as private spaces to relax and enjoy the quiet. All cottages have their own private wood-fired hot tubs. Each cottage that has an inside bath-tub is equipped with an outdoor shower and each cottage that has an inside shower is equipped with an outdoor bath-tub; with the exception of our Honeymoon Cottage that has both an indoor shower and bath-tub as well as an outdoor shower. The farm stay allows for guests to remain on the farm and make use of our trails, dam, pool, hot tub, pizza bar/oven or private areas at each cottage to relax and unwind; alternatively it is also close enough to Montagu and surrounding towns to get out and explore the area. Well-equipped kitchenette with indoor fireplace and outdoor braai / barbecue and comfortable patio. There is also an outdoor Victorian style slipper bathtub as well as a wood-fired hot tub with beautiful lingering views. Honeymoon Cottage: 1 b/r, sleeps 2 - The bedroom has a queen bed and the cottage bathroom has an extra width Victorian-style slipper bath tub, shower and toilet. Well-equipped kitchenette with comfortable living room and indoor fireplace. Also has an outdoor braai / barbecue and comfortable patio. There is also an outdoor wood-fired hot tub to take full advantage of the incredible Karoo night sky. Nonnetjie Cottage: 2 b/r, sleeps 4 . The main bedroom has a queen bed with an indoor Victorian bath-tub and reed clad toilet. The second bedroom has twin beds that are convertible into a king bed. Well-equipped kitchenette with indoor fireplace and outdoor braai / barbecue and comfortable patio. There is also an outdoor shower and toilet on the patio with spectacular views of the Langeberg Mountain range. The unit has a private splash pool / wood-fired hot tub. Fish Eagle Cottage: 2 b/r, sleeps 4 - The main bedroom has a queen bed, the second bedroom has twin beds that are convertible into a king bed. The bathroom is en suite (shower and toilet) to the main bedroom and thus the second bedroom guests need to enter the main bedroom to access the bathroom. Well-equipped kitchenette with indoor fireplace and outdoor braai / barbecue and comfortable patio. There is also an out-door bathroom that has an outdoor bath and shower from which to take in the beautiful mountain views. And the cottage boasts a barrel-type wood-fired hot tub that can comfortably seat 4 people.
