Button Cottage is a lovingly renovated 1900 early settler’s cottage, just a 2-3 min stroll to Queenstown’s centre. Overlooking a pine tree-lined park, with the Queen River flowing peacefully beyond, it offers fresh air, cosy comfort and historic charm. A welcoming West Coast Tasmania accommodation to switch off, explore rugged beauty and slow down. Enjoy quiet evenings, starry skies and the pleasure of being walking distance to cafés, galleries and the iconic West Coast Wilderness Railway. The space Bedrooms Button Cottage offers three generously sized bedrooms - two with a Queen Size bed each and the third bedroom with a Double Bed. Each bedroom has comfortable furnishings and a heater and the beds all have new electric blankets. A garment rack in each room provides ample space to hang clothing and the windows have blackout curtains. Sitting Room A cosy and light-filled sitting room with smart TV, electric fireplace and lush seating options offers a lovely place to relax and connect. The internet modem is located in this room and provides fast Fibre To The Node Standard Pro (100/40) with Launtel – unlimited data. Kitchen Facilities The updated galley kitchen is compact, functional, super cute and convenient - coffee maker, microwave, cooking appliances and utensils, refrigerator - everything needed for coffee, snacks and easy meals. Please Note – in the interests of no surprises for our guests, our stove/oven is on our Wish List for replacement, although it works just fine. Dining Room plus Entrance Area Alongside the kitchen is a convenient and pleasant dining room, which connects to the rear entrance from the carport and provides access to the bathroom/laundry. Heating and Cooling The entire sitting room, kitchen and dining room are amply climate controlled with a reverse-cycle airconditioner. You'll always be comfortable, whatever the weather! Bathroom / Laundry A sizeable combined bathroom and laundry is at the rear of the Cottage, providing steaming hot showers, room to move, clean and modern washing machine and dryer plus clothes drying rack and ironing board. Our Offer We value cleanliness, so have renovated, decorated and cleaned the cottage with the closest of detail. Not every facility is brand spanking new, but everything has been cleaned to within an inch of its life! We would only offer our guests to stay in something we would stay in ourselves! Convenient Parking Parking is provided under a double carport - conveniently connected to the house so you can stay dry from car to door! Guest access The entire property is available for your stay.
