The Nook | Private Floor near White Town & Beach

Welcome to The Nook — a peaceful little stay tucked into a quiet lane in central Pondicherry, just an 8-minute walk from Rock Beach and a short walk from White Town, cafés and great restaurants. Start with breakfast at a French café or local tiffin spot, wander through White Town and along the seafront, come home for a midday nap, then head out again for hot bajji, bonda and tea on the Tamil side of town. A simple, comfortable base for experiencing Pondicherry slowly — and mostly on foot. The space Your stay occupies the entire second floor of our three-storey townhouse, giving you a private bedroom, bathroom and dining/pantry area exclusively for your use. The first floor is a separate guest stay with its own private spaces. You may pass other guests only on the staircase or in the ground-floor common entrance area. Guest access You will have exclusive access to your bedroom, bathroom and dining/pantry area on the second floor. The staircase and ground-floor entrance are common areas shared with guests staying on the first floor. The ground-floor common area can also be used for luggage storage when needed. Other things to note A few things to know before booking: • The pantry area has a microwave and electric kettle for reheating food and making hot drinks. There is no stovetop/cooking facility or refrigerator. • There is no TV at the property. • The second floor is accessed by stairs and there is no lift, so the stay may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility. • The Nook is remotely managed with self-service/online check-in and check-out. I am available by phone or message throughout your stay, and a local caretaker can assist with urgent on-site issues. • Housekeeping during your stay is available on advance request. • There is no power backup. Outages in the neighbourhood are uncommon and, when they do occur, are generally short.
