Recently renovated, this 1950s farmhouse maintains many of its original features among its modern upgrades. The space Updates For 2023! We are excited to announce that a new deck and roof extension will be completed by February 2023. This will give our guests a more comfortable outside hang out, especially during warmer months, to enjoy the countryside surroundings! New photos coming soon! The home provides 4 bedrooms, 3 full baths, a full kitchen, dining room, and two living areas. There is also a large deck and lower patio to take in the view or play yard games (yard games not provided; please feel free to bring your own). A gas grill (new March 2020) is available for your use as well as a fire pit and wood to enjoy during your stay. The fire pit will be ready to use and additional wood is available for your use. Kitchen Items as of 10/2020: 1. Plates, bowls, silverware, coffee mugs, wine glasses, and drinking glasses for 12 guests 2. Coffee pot, filters, and coffee; guests are free to bring their own coffee if preferred; 3. Mixing bowls (3 glass and 6 plastic), cookie sheets, muffin pan, Pyrex baking dishes, pots and pans (multiple sizes), strainer 4. Kitchen utensils (spatula, whisk, spoons, etc.); Grilling utensils; steak knives 5. Ice trays (4) 6. Paper towels, trash bags, and dishwasher detergent provided 7. Toaster Bathrooms: 1. Shampoo and body wash provided (no conditioner; feel free to bring if needed) 2. Makeup removers 3. Hair dryer 4. Toilet paper Complimentary bottled water and drinks in fridge. Washer and dryer available for use if needed as well as an iron and ironing board. No pets allowed. We take pride in keeping the home clean and free of allergens so that all guests can safely enjoy the property. Location: PLEASE NOTE - our home is NOT located in downtown Hermann and is not within walking distance. The home sits on 37 beautiful acres 5 minutes from town, allowing for picturesque views and quiet surroundings. Although only a short drive, please keep this in mind when booking. Uber / Lyft will come out to the property as does The Hermann Trolley. Please contact the Trolley prior to your stay for up to date pricing information and to ensure no issues with transportation requests. Guest access Guest access is limited to the house (main level, upstairs, and downstairs bedroom/bath) and surrounding yard. Access to the barns (2) is strictly prohibited. Other things to note The Hermann Trolley has a shuttle that will pick up guests at the property and bring them into town to utilize the Trolley routes. The nightly rate is for 10 guests (2 people per bed). There is an additional charge of $30 per guest/per night for any guests over the allotted 10. There are two full size couches that can sleep one person each and there is also space available to utilize an air mattress (not included).
