Brigueuil is a friendly village with essential services within walking distance. There is a boulangerie, a butcher with excellent local produce, a pharmacy, a doctor’s surgery and a small API self-service supermarket for everyday basics. The cafe-bar-tabac is the social hub of the village. Brigueuil is close to Saint-Junien, Confolens, Bellac and other popular areas, all offering shops, markets and places to explore. Limoges Airport and Oradour-sur-Glane are also a short drive away. The space Le Pied des Remparts (Foot of the Ramparts) is a welcoming gite set in the heart of the historic village of Brigueuil. The old stone property has recently been renovated and offers an open-plan living, kitchen and dining area with a wood-burning stove, electric heaters, and useful appliances including a hob, fridge with small freezer compartment, microwave / air fryer, kettle and toaster. A few steps lead to a small elevated space with a dedicated workspace and a pull-down bed suitable for children. There is a large shower room with walk-in shower, WC and washbasin and washing machine and a spacious double bedroom with wardrobe. The property has electric heaters in each room, and also has a lovely wood burner in the living area that is available for additional warmth and atmosphere.
