It is also just an 8 minute walk to the Bourne End train station with quick access to London via Maidenhead on the Elizabeth Line and/or fast train to Paddington as well as Cookham and Marlow. Many amenities such as grocery stores, restaurants, coffee shops & pubs are within just a few minutes walk. The space Our 55 foot long by 10 foot wide beam barge houseboat is luxuriously appointed with custom wood cabinetry and decorative tiling throughout. It is also unique in that it contains a full kitchen including a family size fridge/freezer, a gas cooker with 4 hobs & oven, microwave and Nespresso coffee maker with attached milk frother. The stylish breakfast bar can seat up to 4 people. The bedroom has a double bed that together with the double sofa bed in the lounge enables the houseboat to sleep up to 4 people. The bathroom includes a beautifully tiled shower, natural stone wash basin, heated towel rail and flush macerator toilet. Heating is provided through a wood/multi-fuel burning stove in the open plan living area (initial supply of kindling & coal provided) as well as electric oil filled radiators to provide heating in the bedroom or if you prefer not to use the stove. So regardless of the weather, the houseboat stays cozy & warm. The houseboat is equipped with 2 flat screen smart tvs: one in the lounge and one in the bedroom, with ultrafast WiFi so you can connect to streaming services such as Netflix and catch up on work if necessary. Guest access The houseboat is moored directly across from the Bourne End Marina offices and El Cerdo tapas restaurant. Other things to note As the property is a boat and surrounded by open water, it is not suitable for toddlers.
