In the charming village of Doizieux, perched on the heights of the Pilat massif, La Chouette welcomes you for a relaxing stay. This characterful, spacious and bright gîte harmoniously combines old stone, exposed beams and contemporary comfort. Calm, nature, sunny terraces and a warm atmosphere make it an ideal place to meet with family or friends. The space With 180 m² on two levels, this cottage combines old charm and modern comfort. The ground floor includes an entrance, an equipped kitchen open to a bright living room and a friendly dining room. The living room opens onto the terrace, perfect for convivial moments facing nature. A games area with billiards offers lively evenings, while children have a dedicated corner. This level includes a bedroom with a 160 cm bed, a bathroom, a separate toilet and a laundry room. Upstairs, a mezzanine with TV and games serves three bedrooms: one with a 160 cm bed, one with two 90 cm beds (with extra beds), and a third with two 90 cm beds and a double bed in the mezzanine (not suitable for children under 6 years old). A bathroom completes this level with a walk-in shower, bathtub and toilet. Parking is available at the foot of the building, with the possibility of dropping off your belongings in front of the cottage. For added comfort, charges are included and beds are made upon arrival. In the heart of the Pilat Regional Natural Park, Doizieux is a privileged destination for lovers of nature and heritage. From the gîte, discover the crests of the Oeillon and the Perdrix, classified Natura 2000, or explore the marked trails around the dam. The charm of the village operates at every turn: typical farms, old mills, washhouse, carved crosses and the square tower visible from the terrace of the cottage. An old mill dating from before the Revolution, the building has been carefully renovated by the owners, respecting ceiling heights, exposed beams and stone walls. The living room opens onto the wooden terrace. 10 km from the A47, this peaceful retreat is ideal between Saint-Étienne and Lyon. La Chouette occupies the two upper levels of an old municipal building, the ground floor used by the town hall. It has a separate entrance with private exteriors.
