Looking to get away from the grind, get close to nature and unwind in some of the most beautiful views possible. The place is bound to suit your palette. The cottage is in a unique geo location such that you can enjoy a view of hills & valleys of the Himalayas. The space Within a few minutes of reaching the place, what hits you is the fresh & totally unpolluted air that you breathe. You are bound to time & again tell each other about the freshness all around. While sitting in the balcony, you can see & listen to a variety of birds that all of us miss while in our city stays. Nights are even more mesmerising where you can endlessly count the stars & constellations while googling to find their names. The 180 degree panoramic view from the windows & the balcony is so soothing & cannot be more green & calming all thru the day. Amongst the best places to go for a book reading sojourn while siping a steaming hot mug of soothing ginger honey lemon tea. If you also love nature, yearn for a calm & Soothing break, we invite you to come, relax & get rejuvenated at ‘Serenidad’ while we are away. The space The cottage has 2 rooms, a hall, a kitchen (stocked with dry & wet rations), a sitting place where a bonfire can be arranged in the evening. If you are 4 adult guests (also 2 kids), you have the option of taking up both the rooms, then the cottage becomes your independent home that you don’t share with anyone. Alternatively, if you are 2 adults (also one kid), you can opt for one room. The cottage has a car access right inside the premises. While you enjoy the serenity of the hills of Mukteshwar, the idea is not to rough it up. The cottage provides all the comforts of a modern and well led life among the mountains. 1. WiFi connection with inverter support for work from vacation home travelers. Though the place has good mobile rage connectivity, the internet connection will meet most work requirements. Power cuts are rare but if they happen, we have Back Up through the inverter. TV with Tata Sky connection to step back in the real world in case you really need to (our advice though will be to the contrary). 2. Fully armed kitchen - Fridge, microwave, toaster, Electric kettle, Gas stove, cutlery and utensils. You have an option to self cook or employ the services of a local cook (chargeable) who makes Indian & Pahadi cuisine, Veg & Non veg dishes. You may have to inform about your requirements a meal earlier. 3. Provision for tea/coffee as you enjoy the beautiful view of the sunset. Enjoy a few pre dinner drinks besides the bonfire that the local help can set up for a nominal charge. 4. Blowers in each of the bedrooms will help keep you warm especially in the colder months. Hot pressurised water is available in the Bathrooms. 5. Plenty of places to walk around. The morning/evening walks are a pleasure in themselves. We request you to help maintain the serenity of the place and avoid playing loud music. Also smoking inside the cottage interiors is not permitted. If you please, you can smoke in the deck area or outside 6. If you desire, a 2 hour trek of the rivulet ‘Triveni’ can be arranged alongwith a guide (Chargeable). This experience is amongst the most remembered by us & our guests. 7. A First Aid box with very basic Medicines is available at the cottage. In case you are on very specific medicines, request you to carry them with you, nearest Chemist is 20 mins away. 8. Viewing of the full Himalayan range of mountains is an experience in itself. It entails you waking up 15-20 mins before sunrise & driving to the range viewing point at Kashiyalekh. Within 15-30 minutes after sunrise , clouds rise & block this view on most days. Then all are at nature’s mercy when the clouds get blown away by the winds. 9. The local help will pluck for you Apples, Plums, Fresh Rajma, Green Chillies, junglee Cucumbers but this is limited to the fruiting season only. 10. In case you plan a few drinks in the evening, do note that the nearest liquor store is also around 20-25 mins away. 11. It Snows for about 5-7 days in peak winters. Normally this happens in January mid to February mid but this does change. Note : Always carry some woollens. You don’t know when the evenings/nights get too cold for comfort.
