Surrounded by peaceful gardens and an open meadow, it's equally suited to garden lovers, wildlife enthusiasts and remote workers seeking a quiet, inspiring place to focus. Open all year, it's an ideal base in every season—from sunny days exploring Bayeux and the coast to cosy winter evenings after brisk countryside walks, with the comfort of central heating, high-speed Wi-Fi and the option to pre-book delicious chef-prepared meals. Guest access 🔑 Guest Access Guests have exclusive use of their gîte, including all indoor areas and private deck/terrace. The large garden is shared with other guests. On-site parking is free and accessible to your property We have a shared indoor games room with tumble dryer/storage. The barns/woodstores are not accessible to guests and please stay within the hedge boundaries of the gardens. Beyond the boundaries are private farmers fields. There is plenty of space for everyone! The large garden and outdoor spaces are shared with other guests but the decks are private to each gite The Wising Well Cottgae has its own private garden and gated area. Other things to note 1. Check-in & Check-out Check-in is from 3:00 PM and check-out is by 11:00 AM. We will personally welcome you on arrival, show you around your gîte and hand over the keys. If you expect to arrive later than planned, please keep us updated with your estimated arrival time so we can make your arrival as smooth as possible. For very late arrivals, we have a secure key safe box available, allowing you to access your gîte at your convenience. The key safe can also be used during your stay if you prefer to keep your keys secure while you head out for the day exploring Normandy 2. House Rules We want all our guests to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing stay at Les Rouges Terres. We kindly ask you to: • Respect other guests enjoying the shared gardens — there is plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy the surroundings. • Please do not smoke inside any of the buildings. • We do not allow parties or events. However, we are happy to welcome larger groups or families who wish to reserve all three gîtes together. • Please do not leave rubbish outside your gîte. If you need help disposing of waste, please let us know. A bottle recycling bin is available on-site for your convenience. Pets are welcome at La Vieille Grange.
