The Granary

You'll have plenty to enjoy at this historic Victorian granary located in a picturesque setting overlooking the duck pond at Grove Hall, in the quiet village of Tolleshunt Knights. This is a charming, cosy, self contained annexe, perfect for relaxation and exploration of the surrounding areas. Visit historic Colchester, Tollesbury Marina, Mersea Island and Maldon. Local amenities and shops are 5 minutes away in Tiptree where you can also enjoy afternoon tea at the Wilkins Jam Factory. The space Spacious lounge with dining area, sofa and pull out sofa bed (suitable for two children or one adult). Lounge has smart TV, free Wifi, games and books. Separate kitchen equipped with oven, hob, fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, toaster, kettle and cafetiere. Milk, tea, instant coffee, hot chocolate and sugar will be there for you to enjoy. Stairs leading to the large first floor bedroom with comfy double bed and ensuite bathroom. Bed linen, towels and toiletries are provided There is an iron, ironing board and hair dryer. Guest access The Granary is situated in our garden at Grove Hall. Only named guests have access to the property and there is one free parking space which is straight ahead as you drive into the property. There is a lock box for self check-in to The Granary or we can meet you personally on arrival. Other things to note We share our home with two friendly miniature schnauzers and a cat who you may encounter in the garden. Ducks, moorhens, pheasants, woodpeckers and other birds are also round and about. The duck pond is a deep body of water therefore families with young children are advised to take care.
