Whether you’re visiting St Helens, the world-famous Bay of Fires, The Gardens or Bicheno, Seaglass House provides the ideal base to explore all that Tasmania's East Coast has to offer, with all the comforts you need to relax and recharge after a day of exploring. The space The charming 1980s beach cottage has been lovingly restored, featuring 3 cosy bedrooms, a sun-drenched living area, and a romantic stone wall with a decorative fireplace. The modern kitchen is equipped with a coffee pod machine, and the beautifully designed bathroom boasts a natural stone basin and a double shower, perfect after a day of adventure. With large windows framing the ocean views, the open-plan living area invites you to relax and take in the surroundings. The treasure filled interior is warm and welcoming, and features a fully equipped kitchen, pod coffee machine, washer, dryer and a cosy living room with a decorative fireplace. Outside, you can take a deep breath of fresh Tasmanian sea air while listening to the waves roll in, ideal for your morning coffee and watching the sunrise, or just the perfect spot to sip your evening drink. The house offers 3 bedrooms and 4 beds, including a King bed in the Main bedroom, a Queen in the Second Bedroom, and 2 singles. It comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests. The bathroom is a spa-like retreat, with a luxurious double shower and a unique natural stone basin atop a slab of locally crafted Tasmanian Sassafras. Seaglass House is perfect for couples, families, or solo travellers. It’s a great spot for a romantic getaway, family holiday, or peaceful coastal escape. Relax in comfortable beds, enjoy crisp linen, and soak in the beauty of the region from your private deck or sit at your dining table gazing out the large window framing the views. You may even be lucky enough to spot migrating whales or dolphins, seals at nearby Scamander, or marvel at the clearest starry sky above. Guest access You’ll have access to all areas of the house. Seaglass House is just across the road from Paddy’s Beach (two beach accesses can be found if you walk either direction from the house, along the road – approx. 300m). - It is a 20-minute drive to Binalong Bay and 30mins to The Gardens - Within 40 minutes of the World Famous Bay of Fires - Just under 2hours from Launceston Airport. - St Helens township (9 minutes drive) is the largest town on the East Coast and offers plenty of local amenities, including coffee shops, fresh produce, IGA supermarkets, bank, bottle shop and more. - Within only a few minutes you can drive to nearby Scamander/Beaumaris for relaxed surf culture, wildlife spotting and more incredible natural beauty and great surf beaches! Other things to note Phone reception can sometimes be inconsistent if inside the home. For compliance reasons, the inside fireplace is a decorative feature only and is NOT available for guest use. There is a fire pit outside overlooking the ocean, which guests can use. Firewood is often stored to the side. Please keep fires small and keep them contained within the firepit supplied.
