Layout of the Vacation Rental The entrance is reached via a few steps made of Vosges sandstone. The living areas (kitchen, dining room, living room, and a bathroom with a shower) are on the ground floor. The two bedrooms, a bathroom with a bathtub, and a separate toilet are located upstairs, accessible via a charming staircase. A cellar accessible from the outside houses a washing machine and a dryer. A cozy outdoor area with a terrace. The fully equipped open kitchen Fully equipped kitchen with a fridge-freezer, induction cooktop, oven, range hood, dishwasher, capsule coffee machine, kettle, air fryer, and a full set of kitchen utensils. A Grohe Blue faucet provides filtered water—still or sparkling—and the water is treated by a Grander system. The Dining Room A table for enjoyable meals, a smart TV, and board games for group gatherings. A china cabinet with everything you need, as well as a reversible air conditioner. The Living Room A large smart TV with a soundbar, a sleeper sofa, an armchair, and a selection of books. Fiber-optic internet is available throughout the entire apartment. The Bedrooms Each bedroom features a 160x200 bed with two pillows per person (one flat, one thick), nightstands with bedside lamps and one alarm clock per room, a dresser, a closet, and a mirror. One bedroom (Soleil) is equipped with a desk; the other (Océan) has a clothes drying rack, an iron, and an ironing board. The beds are made upon your arrival. The Bathrooms Two bathrooms, each with a hair dryer, a vanity mirror, and a towel warmer. One has a shower and the other a bathtub. There is also a separate toilet. Bath linens are provided. Laundry Room Washer and dryer in the basement, accessible via outdoor steps made of Vosges sandstone. Outdoors A secure courtyard with a gate features a patio and a barbecue. Comfort in Every Season The entire house is air-conditioned in the summer. In the winter, the pellet heater and reversible air conditioners provide gentle warmth. Capacity 4 people in the two bedrooms. For 2 additional guests, the living room sofa bed can be used only upon prior request! Safety Fire extinguisher, smoke detector in every room, and carbon monoxide detector. The courtyard is secured with a code-operated gate. A security camera records only the exterior entrances to the various units. Accessibility The unit is not suitable for people with limited mobility. Access is via a few steps made of Vosges sandstone, and the bedrooms are reached by a fairly steep staircase. It may not be suitable for young children without supervision or for people who have difficulty climbing stairs. The sandstone can be slippery in snowy or icy conditions. This charming house features ceiling heights of approximately 2.05 m and higher. Rules This is a strictly non-smoking property! Pets are not allowed. Offwiller is ideally located for exploring Northern Alsace: hikes in the Northern Vosges Regional Nature Park, castles, quaint villages, the wine route, Christmas markets in winter... A perfect starting point for all kinds of activities. A welcome booklet will be available in the accommodation, along with a variety of suggestions for things to see and do and a list of restaurants. Guest access The vacation rental is located at the front of a secure courtyard, accessible through a gate with a code (provided before your arrival). You’ll have exclusive use of the entire property, as well as a private patio with a barbecue. We live behind the cottage, in the same courtyard, so we’re on-site to welcome you or answer any questions, while remaining discreet. To get to our home, we walk through the courtyard, which is right next to your terrace.
