Connemara provides probably the finest angling in western Europe for salmon, sea trout and brown trout, but lake fishing and most outdoor pursuits - from mountaineering to wild swimmingare well catered for through out the entire area. Ballyconneely is home to the renowned Connemara Golf course. There are several horse riding stables in the area and of course miles of white sandy beaches to explore. The house is within a half hour drive of Roundstone, Ballyinahinch, Renvyle, Cleggan, Letterfrack and Kylemore. The island of Inishboffin is a short boat trip from Cleggan harbor.
