Clonunion House is a delightful 250 year-old farmhouse set on a working family farm in the outskirts of the picturesque village of Adare, County Limerick. The house is set in large tranquil gardens. Three guest rooms are en-suite, spacious and antique furnished. Whether it is walking the gardens, enjoying the views while eating breakfast or browsing through an interesting book in the cosy lounge, guests are sure to experience a relaxing stay. The space Clonunion House dates back to 1775, and was the stud farm of the earls of Dunraven before being purchased by the FitzGerald family in the 1970's. There is a horse graveyard onsite that holds some of Irelands most famous racehorses like Desmond, who was owned by the 4th Earl of Dunraven, who's racing career began in 1898. Clonunion House was operated as a Bed and Breakfast for 20 years before being converted into a rental. Guest access The Front Yard, and Horse Graveyard. Other things to note This is a working farm with cows and sheep.
