This is the kind of environment you can image being inspired with to relax and read. 100+ year old white barked Sycamores. Stairs lead down to Wet Beaver Creek on this 1 acre+ site. The Cabin is a studio (1 bedroom/1 bath) haven of comfort. Numerous outside patios provide immense enjoyment. Just 20 minutes to Sedona, Camp Verde, and Cottonwood. 55 minutes to Flagstaff Airport or 90 minutes to Phoenix airport! The perfect spot to day trip from or just relax under the trees along the creek. Relax above Wet beaver Creek on a swing overlooking the creek, or in a chair right at creek level. Two patios to use for you and friends. along with a bar-b-q grill. You will find coffee in the kitchen, milk in the fridge, and wine on the table to welcome you after a long day of travel. You are welcome to roam the 1 acre site and use any of the outside areas. Note that the main house is in use and not accessible. We are not at the property all the time but are easily reached by phone. In a region peppered with former rough-and-tumble mining towns, Lake Montezuma, has its sister community of Rimrock. Of course, plenty of Arizona history lies within easy reach. Historic Camp Verde and the old mining town of Jerome are nearby, as are Montezuma Castle and Montezuma Well National Monument. Nearby, lovely Sycamore Park offers a playground, walking trails, picnic areas, and creek access for swimming and fishing. Looking for riparian areas, ponds that host migrating birds, or incredible views of Arizona's red rocks? Look no further. Within a short drive from town, you can also explore Sedona, Prescott Valley, and Flagstaff. You might hear this area also referred to as Beaver Creek since the creek is the heart of the region. Its headwaters start in the high country of northern Arizona and descend from the Mogollon Rim to its junction with the Verde River in neighboring Camp Verde. We are very close to some national monuments and parks. Montezuma Well and Montezuma castle are 10 minutes away. Sedona only 30 minutes and the ghost town of Jerome is about 35 minutes. There is internet in the guest cabin and on the patios. TV with Roku in the cabin.
