The space The stable is next to the old chapel on a quiet residential street in the centre of Menheniot, a small village between Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor National Park. It has a characterful interior decorated in fresh and bright colours, with numerous unique soft furnishings catching the eye. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is a cosy space with comfortable sofas overlooked by a fascinating ceiling, wooden cabinetry and a handmade staircase. A king-size bedroom, featuring a stunning four-poster bed made using parts of a church organ, lies down the hallway, as does a large and ultra-modern shower room. The lounge in the eaves comes complete with an inviting sofa bordered by a balcony on one side and a remarkable wall feature on the other. Outside in the enclosed patio garden, comfortable garden furniture, a BBQ and a wicker hammock are all within a few paw prints of one another. Private, off-road parking for one car is also available. Menheniot is a smart village perfect for everything from a quick pint to kitchen essentials. Liskeard (3.5 miles) is a charming market town home to a host of cultural, historical and natural attractions, and it is a similar story across Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor National Park (both within 10 miles), which are havens for hillwalkers, cyclists and trail runners.
