Grooms Bothy Bellingham

Grooms Bothy is a gorgeous historical 200 year old cottage nestled in the heart of Bellingham. Perfectly positioned for exploring. The cottage is just a short stroll from local pubs, coffee shops, and the beautiful waterfalls. Offering a calming and characterful retreat. The interiors combine the warmth of a traditional cottage with subtle touches of modern luxury, creating a space that feels timeless and indulgent. Steeped in history and charm, Grooms Bothy is the perfect place to unwind. The space The entire property is yours for the duration of your booking. On entering the property you are straight in to the spacious lounge with wooden beams and a generous open fire. With cosy décor, and a comfortable 3 seater sofa and love seat. We have a smart TV where Netflix is available to you. You’ll find a little reading nook with shelves full of old antiques and new and plenty of board games and books to choose from. There are then a few stairs to the kitchen where you’ll find a dinning table and a fully equipped kitchen. With a fridge freezer, washing machine, dish washer and electric range master oven. We provide tea, coffee and sugar. The coffee is for a cafetière which is also provided. We also provide a few essentials such as salt, pepper, oil, kitchen roll, dish soap and hand soap, as well as dish washer tables and laundry essentials. You’ll also find a few welcome treats for yourself and your pooch if you’re brining it. Back at the entrance door you’ll find a flight of stairs taking you to the landing. Here you’ll find the door to the spacious luxury bedroom with king-size bed, fresh bedding and towels, and a soaking bath in the corner of the bedroom ideal for relaxing. There’s also a little vanity area for freshening up. The bathroom has a walk in shower, and a quirky sink, with overhead lighting. These have rechargeable light bulbs in and we provide chargers so they can be replaced. We do allow dogs at our property with a few house rules, but we do regret that our 200 year old cottage does not come with an outdoor space. There are plenty of patches of grass, walks and parks all near by and all the pubs and coffee shops are dog friendly. So please don’t let that put you off coming with your fur babies. Guest access You have the entire cottage. There are 2 locked cupboards, 1 in the kitchen and 1 in the landing. Please don’t force these. We also ask that you don’t help yourself to additional bedding or towels. If you need more please let me know. There is wifi and Netflix for you. If you get logged out of Netflix please let me know and we will send you the password
