Here you get six bedrooms and a total of 16 beds, two bathrooms, a large living room with a fireplace and a spacious dining table that gathers everyone for meals and pleasant evenings. The kitchen is open to the living room and makes cooking social and easy. The space The cabin maintains a simple but practical standard, perfect for those who want good space, ski in/out for both alpine and cross-country skiing, and beautiful views of the mountains. The bathrooms are simple but functional, and everything you need is in place for a pleasant stay in the mountains. Outside you can enjoy fresh mountain air and the calm atmosphere of Aurdalsåsen. The area offers a wide range of activities throughout the year – from ski trips and top tours to quiet days on mountain roads and by mountain lakes. ✹ Hiking and cycling - A varied network of marked trails and mountain roads provides great opportunities for both short and long trips. ✹ Cross-country skiing - The trail network goes right past the cabin and takes you far into the mountains, with the possibility of trips all the way to Beitostølen. ✹ Alpine - Valdres Alpine Center is only a few minutes away. Here you will find varied hills for both beginners and experienced skiers – and you get a discount on lift tickets through us. ✹ Fishing – Several mountain lakes in the surrounding area offer great fishing opportunities, whether you want to enjoy a quiet evening by the water or try your luck at autumn fishing. ✹ Golf – Valdres Golf Course, one of Norway's most beautiful, is located approx. 8 km away, idyllically located by the lake with great views of the mountains. In winter, you can take a break at Koja Panorama, which is located at the top station 1060 mamsl. Here you get fantastic views and good food – a perfect stop between ski trips. ☆ EXPLORE VALDRES ☆ The cabin stay also provides a perfect base for experiencing Valdresflye – the spectacular high mountain road that is about an hour away. The road winds through the landscape at over 1300 meters above sea level and offers panoramic views of Jotunheimen. Right by Valdresflye is Jotunheimen National Park, known for majestic peaks, clear lakes and beautiful nature. Here you will find famous mountains such as Besseggen, Galdhøpiggen and Glittertind. The area is perfect for mountain hiking, cycling and nature experiences all year round. ☆ SHOPPING AND SERVICE ☆ Nearest grocery store (Kiwi) is about 15 minutes drive in Aurdal. For a wider selection you will find several stores in Leira, while Fagernes is the nearest shopping - with a mall, liquor store, cafes and restaurants.
