The historic market town of Holsworthy is just 2 miles away and has a good selection of local shops, a supermarket, town amenities, a golf club and an indoor swimming pool and leisure centre. Winscott Cottage is within easy reach of the sandy beaches on the north Cornwall coast, including the excellent surfing beach of Widemouth Bay and the seaside town of Bude, with its beaches, sea pool, shops, pubs and restaurants, only 10 miles away. There is something for everyone in this stunning location. Water sports and fishing are available at the nearby Tamar Lakes, as well as coastal and country walking, golf, surfing, mountain boarding, horse riding, cycling or simply relaxing. Pretty fishing villages, spectacular beaches and coves are dotted all along this coastline, from Padstow, Tintagel, Crackington Haven and Bude in Cornwall, to Westward Ho!, Clovelly and Instow in Devon. For a family fun day out, The BIG Sheep amusement farm and The Milky Way Adventure Park are not to be missed.
