To the Citadel

From the kitchen and living room you can reach the cozy terrace, directly on the small river Dove Elde, for breakfast or a glass of wine in the evening. In the yard there is also the bicycle shed. Upstairs is the bedroom with exposed timber and panoramic views. The bus station with exactly one stop is within sight, under old linden trees on the other bank of the small river. As soon as you step out the door, you are right in the center of the city overlooking the church. Right across from the apartment is the Martins, a charming café with small dishes and sometimes there is even live music! The Dömitz Citadel is practically next door. The entrance via the fortress ditch is approx. 300 meters. It is not much further to the Elbe, where you can experience the most beautiful sunsets even in winter. Via the Dömitz Elbe Bridge, it is less than 15 minutes by bike to a wonder point of the cultural country party in Wendland, which takes place annually between Ascension and Pentecost.
