Fascadale Cottage by the sea
Description
Built right on the coast on the ruin of a netsman’s bothy, the cottage boasts spectacular views of the mountains of Eigg, Muck, Rum and the Cuillins of Skye as well as the green and turquoise waters of Fascadale bay. The bay itself is stunning. Banks of rounded stones, cast up by countless storms, line the shore. At low tide a beach of pale sand, which gives the waters their colour, is exposed. This is where the boats landed their catch, to be stored in the ice house, which remains to this day. Other things to note The water is from a hill source, It gets tested every year and passes but people sometimes like to bring their own drinking water. Registration Details HI-40747-F
