Stolpcabin – Handcrafted mountain cabin & sauna

A handcrafted mountain cabin in Kvikkjokk, surrounded by forests, mountains and the silence of Swedish Lapland. Stolpcabin is a unique post-and-beam cabin built with natural materials and a strong connection to its surroundings. After a day in the mountains, relax in your wood-fired sauna and enjoy the warmth of the cabin. Centrally located in Kvikkjokk, it’s a perfect base for hiking, fishing, skiing and exploring Kungsleden, Padjelanta and Sarek. Come back, light the sauna and slow down. The space The cabin is suitable for 4–6 adults, with space for additional children depending on size. There are duvets and pillows for 7 people. Please feel free to contact us if you would like to discuss the possibility of additional sleeping arrangements. The cabin is centrally located in Kvikkjokk, on the right-hand side as you descend into the village from Jokkmokk. Right next to the cabin is a wood-fired sauna. Parking is available directly outside the cabin. Kvikkjokk is located at the end of the road – we recommend doing all grocery shopping before arrival. A recycling station is located where the road ends, at the parking area by Kvikkjokk Mountain Station. The cabin has a shower, toilet, fireplace and full year-round standard. Guests are kindly asked to bring their own towels and bed linen. As we do not live locally, we are unfortunately unable to offer a cleaning service, and guests are kindly asked to leave the cabin clean upon departure. The cabin offers 2 bedrooms, 5 beds plus sofa bed, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, fireplace, sauna, free parking and self check-in. Centrally located in Kvikkjokk, it’s a perfect base for hiking, fishing, skiing and exploring Kungsleden, Padjelanta and Sarek. Come back, light the fire, cook dinner and slow down. This is Stolpcabin. Other things to note Please bring your own firewood for the inside and outside fireplace as well as the sauna (max 25 cm logs for the inside fireplace).
