Bright cottage, sleeps 4, near trails, own parking

Croeso i Dŷ Nen 2! Welcome to Tŷ Nen 2, my little slice of my homeland in the village where I was born and brought up just a stone’s throw away. This is where I return to recharge, relax and connect to nature and the culture of Cymru and I hope you will too. Come to: ride the bike trails hike in the beautiful Cwmcarn Forest Drive catch a game at the Millenium Stadium or a concert at Cardiff Castle and more. Feel at home if you’re working away. You're assured of a welcome in the valleys! The space Come on in to my cosy cottage! It’s self check-in so your arrival time can be flexible. There is off road parking. NB There are steps no matter which entrance you use to the house and an original narrow steep spiral staircase to access the bedroom, which may not suit everyone. From the front gate you walk the path through a cottage garden with roses. At the door you’ll walk into the bright lounge which has a comfy sofa-bed, traditional Welsh dresser and large smart TV for access to streaming channels. We have fibre broadband (WIFI) and lamps for cosy lighting. Walk through the lounge to reach the full kitchen with all the usual amenities. Small fridge on the right (with small icebox compartment), Toaster and Microwave on the left, along with a gas hob and electric oven. Ahead of you is the sink and washing machine. From the kitchen, to the right you access the bathroom with W.C., basin, mirror, storage shelves, radiator and shower. The water pressure is great! The back door from the kitchen leads you out to the patio/garden and parking area. Access to the bedroom is via a steep, narrow, original stone staircase from the lounge. With a velux at one end and window at the other, the upstairs space is a bright, airy room. Here you'll find a double bed with bedside tables and lamps. There is an open clothes rail with hangers as well as a small yellow cupboard with two shelves and a freestanding mirror. There’s a small, soft chair for sitting near the window. This extends for use as a bed (suitable only for children). Guest access Guests have the entire house to themselves. I may need access to the cottage next door which is accessed via a right of way through the garden, but this should not inconvenience guests.
