For those who want to go out on the fjord, it is possible to borrow a recreational boat and fishing gear. And starting in May, guests can also borrow two new electric bikes— a great way to explore the island's coastal roads. A great base for an active vacation or a relaxing weekend The space The house is spread over two floors, with a consistently high standard throughout. On the second floor, you will find an inviting and nicely furnished living room and a fully equipped open-plan kitchen – perfect for socializing while cooking, and with great opportunities to enjoy the view. The property has two bedrooms, both with comfortable double beds. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, and in the hallway, there is a convenient closet with a washing machine and dryer – everything you need for a longer stay. Alnes – coastal culture and open horizons On the west side of the island lies Alnes, a beautiful and authentic coastal community surrounded by sea, beaches, and cliffs. Here, you will find white sandy beaches, great surfing conditions on the right days, and a relaxed pace that offers a true vacation feeling all year round. The Alnes Lighthouse and Experience Center is one of Godøya's most important landmarks and a natural gathering point for both visitors and residents. The area offers exciting terrain and is very popular with local hikers. In addition, many of the hikes pass by Alnesvatnet, an idyllic lake area that is well suited for breaks, photography, and relaxation. Atlanterhavsparken – a short drive away Just a few minutes' drive from Godøya is Atlanterhavsparken, one of Northern Europe's largest saltwater aquariums. Here, you can experience marine life along the Norwegian coast up close – a popular activity for both adults and children. Ålesund city center – restaurants, culture, and city life In about 20–25 minutes, you can reach downtown Ålesund, known for its unique Art Nouveau architecture and excellent dining options.
