The cabin is minutes from everything needed in the town of Grove, yet it still has the comfort, privacy & amenities. The quaint cabin is nestled in a quiet cove and has a gentle slope to the water. THE BOAT HOUSE is a cozy 1-bedroom cabin tucked away in a safe, quiet location on the shorelines of Grand Lake of the Cherokees. We are centrally located in the town of Grove, OK where all the action is! The view of the water from the cabin is limited, behind trees and two cabins, but the shoreline and private boat dock are approximately 300 feet from the cabin down a gentle slope (about 130 steps). The cabin is very close to major boat ramps, marinas, tournament locations, restaurants, shopping and lots of attractions. The Boat House is perfect for anglers, family vacations, girl's weekends or a romantic getaway. Need additional space? Both of our cabins have fast fiber optic Wi-Fi Internet and Roku TV with subscriptions to Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu and Disney+, Paramount+. The cabin is fully furnished and stocked with all the amenities including dishes, cooking utensils, Kuerig coffee maker, Regular coffee maker, linens, towels, sheets and toiletries. The bedroom has a comfortable full-size bed. The living room has full-size sleeper sofa. The cabin will sleep 4 people comfortably. The fully equipped kitchen has relaxed eat-in dining. There is one full bathroom and a washer/dryer. Enjoy your morning coffee on the deck. Your senses will be overloaded while watching a beautiful sunrise and listening to the morning birds sing. The deck has outdoor dining and a grill, charcoal, fuel and matches. You will love the big fire pit on the water's edge where you can get warm, while roasting your hot dogs and s'mores. The COVERED BOAT DOCK is the best part of the property! It has a large swim deck area with an "easy climb" ladder and a shaded pergola with comfortable outdoor lounging and seating. We also have a fish cleaning station with running water. The boat dock is a great area to congregate, play, relax, sun or fish. Early mornings and early evenings on the dock are our favorite! It's tranquil, peaceful, serene.... The spectacular lake views are free of charge! The remaining part of the boat dock has more shaded areas, a picnic table, a mini fridge for drinks and another for bait, colorful Adirondack chairs and excellent areas to fish for crappie, largemouth bass, white bass and catfish! The fishing areas around the dock have been planted with fish habitat to encourage fish to congregate and nest around the dock. The boat dock has one covered BOAT SLIP available for guests to park their boat for the duration of their stay at no extra charge. There are outlets on the dock to charge your boat. BE SURE TO CHECK THE AVAILABILITY OF THE BOAT SLIP PRIOR TO BOOKING. We have 2 cabins, so the slip goes to the guest who reserves it first! Book early! Grand Lake has Fishing Tournaments almost every weekend throughout the year. We invite Anglers to be our guests. Relax in one of our cabins at the end of a long day of fishing! Share the expenses with your fishing partner! We have nearby boat ramps to launch your boat and plenty of parking for your auto, boat, and trailer or jet skis. Exterior electrical outlets are located at our boat/trailer parking space to charge your boat overnight and on the boat dock as well. Nothing is more important than your health and safety. With Covid still lurking, our cabins have been cleaned and sanitized. Easy access! Entry instructions will be sent upon booking. The cabin is all yours! You share only with guests in your party. We live close by and are available 24 hours a day. We can be reached easily by phone or email. We love to visit with our guests, but we will give you your space if preferred and practice social distancing for the duration of Covid-19 . The neighborhood is clean, quiet, serene and private. Our neighborhood is called "Elm Branch". We are located within Grove city limits and the grounds are right on the water in a quiet cove, Elm Branch Cove. Just across the cove is Honey Creek State Park. We are a quick 1-2 mile drive to almost everything in Grove, including Harps Grocery Store, Walgreens, Walmart, Lowes, shopping, restaurants, fast food, doctors, pharmacies, hospital, sports centers, fishing supplies, boat rentals, fishing guides, boat ramps, golf courses and attractions. 1. The cabin sits alone and is not connected to another living space. You will not come in to contact with another person unless you choose to do so. The cabin has been cleaned and sanitized in accordance with Airbnb's health and safety standards. 2. Since the property is located within GROVE city limits, we are permitted and zoned for “Special Use” by the city of Grove to own and operate Vacation Rentals. 3. For our safety and yours, all guests who use the dock to swim, sun, fish or moor their boat must sign a BOAT DOCK WAIVER upon arrival. 4. Your Reservation is customized for your specified number of guests. No unregistered overnight guests are allowed without the knowledge and consent of the hosts, owners of Lake House Cabins. Extra charges will be applied if you have unregistered guests staying overnight. 5. Registered guests are allowed only 2 automobiles and 1 boat trailer on the property. The driveway has limited space. Exceptions must be made with the hosts prior to arrival.
