Whether you seek a romantic getaway or a tranquil retreat, our adult camping experience blends comfort with the great outdoors allowing you to unwind under the open sky and reconnect with the rhythm of nature. You may be under canvas, but we can assure you - out bell tents are like home from home. With a double bed, rugs, cushions and throws, you’ll be warm and comfy. There is a firepit and BBQ just outside of the Bell Tent so you will be able to kick back, cook food and stay toasty. The space Our warm, cosy bell tents are fitted out with a comfy double bed and snuggly, soft bedding. Hot water bottles are provided. Tea, coffee, biscuits and jams are provided. You can shower in warmth and luxury with our comfortable bathrooms. Fluffy towels, robes, Bramley body wash, shampoo, conditioner and hairdryer are all available. Next to the showers you will find a kitchen area where you will find a kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge and portable hob. The kitchen is fitted out with all the basics you’d need along with BBQ tools. Near your bell tent you will have a fire pit where you can BBQ. Guest access The bell tent sits in 25 acres of countryside and meadows. If you wander through the 25 acres you will find beehives, a newly built bird hide and if you are lucky you will spot one of our resident deer. On site you will find 'The Beauty Hut’ where you can pre-book relaxing beauty treatments. Whilst staying at Lakeside Tranquility a 10% discount is given for any treatment. Booking in advance is essential. You will also find 'Nails by Brodie' an experience nail technician. Pre-booking before your stay will be necessary. Other things to note Shaftesbury is just a 25 minute walk (the walk initially starts in a field, walk to the top of the hill, then you are on the straight path to Shaftesbury) or a 2 minute drive where you will find a range of pubs, restaurants, shops. Shaftesbury is often hailed as one of the UK’s prettiest spots and is famous for Gold Hill, a steep cobbled street known for its appearance in the iconic 1970s Hovis TV commercial.
