Chalet Koskónia is located in a beautiful mountain environment above the village of Kokava nad Rimavicou. Koskónia is close to the ski slope, located on the Somárská meadow. It is an ideal place for families with children, groups of friends, or lovers of nature, hiking and winter sports. Accommodation and amenities: Capacity: 9 beds + 1 extra bed Access to the cottage: From two directions: from the Ipeľ cottage and from the Family Guesthouse. Parking: Private parking for 3 - 4 cars + garage - 1 smaller passenger car. Ground floor: - Lounge: with two couches (one of them fold-out - possible sleeping for two people), a romantic fireplace for solid fuel, high-quality sound system, TV with 20 channels and access to VOYO, Wi-Fi connection throughout the cottage with a capacity of 1TB of data. - Kitchen with dining area: gas stove, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, rice cooker, complete cooking and dining equipment, wooden seating with table and corner bench in the dining area. - Bathroom: bathtub with shower and whirlpool, which has adjustable jet nozzles, bubbling - massage system in the bathtub + massage of the trunk in the seat, also in the bathtub. Bathtub capacity: two people, an ideal place to relax and unwind after a day of hiking in the surrounding mountains, or relax the muscles of the body after a good skiing or just to rest in the silence of the mountains with your loved one. Relaxing aromatic salts, bath foams, magnesium salt can be added to the bath. For ladies (but also more demanding gentlemen), there is a healing mud from the Dead Sea, enriched with substances and elements that have a beneficial effect on the skin and the body and health in general. The bathroom includes a toilet. (Dry toilet is located behind the cottage). There is a hairdryer, towels, bath towels, as well as sauna sheets with the name of the cottage and folk embroidery in two colors, red and blue. Of course, there are bathrobes when using mainly the outdoor wood-fired hot tub and suitable footwear for wet feet. - Corridor with storage space: a hanger wall for storing outerwear, two dressers with shoes suitable for staying inside the cottage and shoes designed for staying outside, especially when sauna and bathing in an outdoor tub, powder fire extinguisher. Attic – 4 rooms + common corridor: A wooden staircase leads to the attic from the corner of the common room on the ground floor. - Bedroom No. 1 - south orientation: single room with window and blind, hangers, storage cabinet, night lamp. - Bedroom no. 2 - south orientation: triple room with window and blind, hangers, dresser, night lamp, powder fire extinguisher, beds: 2 + 1. - Bedroom No. 3 - west orientation: double room with balcony and blinds, hangers, built-in wardrobe, chest of drawers, night lamp, TV with 20 channels. The view from the balcony is in front of the cottage on: courtyard, gazebos, sauna, outdoor seating and the former ski slope - side view and parking lot. - Bedroom no. 4 - northern orientation: triple room with extra bed, balcony and blinds, hangers, two dressers, night lamp. The extra bed is in the form of a folding armchair. When unfolded, it provides sufficient dimensions for 1 person to sleep. The view from the balcony is of the surrounding mountains, the parking lot and the former ski slope - a side view. In the common corridor in the attic there is a smoke sensor on the ceiling. Garage - under the ground floor of the cottage: - for one smaller motor vehicle. The entrance to the garage is directly from the driveway from the Ipeľ cottage. In the garage there is a main water supply, a gas cap, a spare propane-butane bottle for connection to the gas stove in the kitchen on the ground floor. A propane-butane leak sensor is also installed in this area. Courtyard in front of the cottage: - has two gazebos: rear and front, both are illuminated inside and with plugs. Rear gazebo (from the view of the cottage): - tub with nozzles, color backlight and bubbling - massage system. The tub is heated with wood, with a volume of 1100 liters and is very well usable even in bad weather, as it is located under the gazebo, - fireplace - wood heating, charcoal, possibility of inserting a baking disc into the fireplace, metal stamping available. Front gazebo: - sauna with an internal wood stove, thermometer and humidity meter, a container for pouring lava stones on the stove, sauna sheets with folk embroidery in blue and red, as well as sauna aromatic oils. The sauna can also be used in bad weather, - outdoor seating on the terrace for 8 people overlooking the surrounding mountains and the side of the former ski slope, seating can also be used in bad weather, as it is located under the gazebo. Koskónia surroundings: The cottage is located in a quiet and undisturbed place, surrounded by mountains that offer a wide range of activities throughout the year. Other neighboring cottages, which are behind and above Koskónia, are unused by their owners, which provides sufficient and undisturbed privacy in Koskónia. Activities: Hiking and nature: - The Poľany mountain massif with a lot of hiking trails, - Bystrianska cave and Ochtinská aragonite cave – unique karst phenomena in the wider area, - Bystré or Kľak waterfall – attractive destinations for tourists, - possibility of collecting mushrooms and forest fruits directly in the area, - Zerrempach Hotel - nearby, with the possibility of using the hotel wellness and attractions for children, - Jasenina tourist lookout tower above the nearby village of Ďubákovo.
