Description
Royal Wulff is a cosy two-sleeper cottage, identical to our Marabou cottage, perfect for a fisherman’s adventure or a romantic getaway in the bush. Located near the two tranquil dams, the cottage boasts a studio layout that ensures intimacy and comfort. Royal Wulff’s king bed and tidy sitting area are warmed each evening by an indoor fireplace, while the patio opens right onto the African bush and the dam’s distinct ecosystem. This cottage is pet friendly. The space Nestled deep in the rolling hills and lush valleys of South Africa's Limpopo province, and only 3.5 hours away from the city of Johannesburg, our 270 hectare off-grid family farm is the ideal destination for those seeking rugged adventure, wide open spaces, raw natural beauty, and a taste of old-fashioned farm life. Six self-catering stone cottages, sleeping between two and six people each, provide all the cosy comforts of rural living. Each cottage is furnished with a fully equipped kitchen, premium linens and towels, an indoor fireplace and outdoor braai, WiFi, a covered patio, and sustainable solar power. Our accommodation is pet friendly. Our farm offers outdoor activities to suit every member of the family, whether you want to relax in nature’s wonder or enjoy some rural adventure. This includes fishing in two fully stocked dams, walking and mountain biking trails, bird and game watching, treasure hunts, an entertainment lapa, and more. Woolly Bugger Farm is proudly owned by the Mullers, a South African family with a deep love for farm life and the African bush. After 12 years living and working abroad, our family has spent the last decade slowly transforming what was once a neglected rural property into a vibrant off-grid farm and eco-tourism business. Guest access The entire farm is available for guests to explore and enjoy. Other things to note Our farm can be accessed via a harsh 27 km dirt road beginning in Dullstroom. While a regular vehicle can normally navigate the road, we highly recommend a high clearance vehicle (or rental cars) and careful driving. After heavy rains, muddy conditions and submerged roads occasionally make a 4x4 vehicle necessary. Please feel free to contact us before your departure for an update on the road’s condition. We are 100% off-grid and thus not subject to loadshedding.
