Welcome to Bed & Breakfast Puur Poortugaal! You will find our B&B in beautiful Poortugaal, just outside Rotterdam. The B&B is located in our beautiful and cozy backyard, adjacent to the Albrandswaard polder. Let yourself be awakened in the morning by the pheasants, the hares or, if you are lucky, the deer that live in this polder. The space At B&B Puur Poortugaal you are really away and you can enjoy purely. You won't have to worry about anything, and that includes the best facilities. Apartment You will stay in a spacious and cozy apartment that is equipped with all comforts. The apartment is 28 m2 and is equipped with air conditioning that can both cool and heat. At the B&B, there is a small private garden where you can sit and look out over the swimming pond and the polder. In the polder and the garden, you can enjoy the many birds and other animals that live there. Next to the house lives a pheasant family that greedily makes use of everything that grows in the garden. You can't miss it. We also occasionally see a kingfisher couple hunting in the pond. And if you're very lucky, you might see one of the deer that live in the polder! In consultation, you can use the natural swimming pond. You don't have to be afraid of fish, because they're not in it. In the garden, you will also find various trees, plants and flowers for you to enjoy. In the summer, fruits and vegetables grow, such as blackberries, plums, apples and tomatoes. Breakfast A good breakfast is a good start to the day. For breakfast, we make everything ourselves as much as possible or buy it from local (farm) shops. Honest, fresh and pure food. Enjoy delicious freshly made brioche bread, banana pancakes, French toast and granola with your yogurt. If the season and the harvest allow, we use fruits and vegetables from our own garden and make jam or juices from them, for example, which we serve at breakfast. Bikes If available, there are two bicycles available (one men's and one women's bicycle) that you can use. Do you want to be sure of a bike, or an electric bike? Then you can also rent bicycles nearby. Guests who bring their own (electric) bicycle can, in consultation, store it covered and locked and charge it in our barn. Parking We have a spacious parking lot on our own grounds where you can park. There is a charging point for electric cars in the parking lot. This can be used with your own charging card. Guest access Guests have access to a full house with a cozy sitting room, kitchenette, bathroom and bedroom. The B&B has a private terrace with a garden table, chairs and a fire bowl. Other things to note Our B&B is ideally located between the green polders of Albrandswaard near Rotterdam. Whatever you are looking for during your stay, there is something for everyone in the nearby area. From the B&B, you can reach the A15 by car within 5 minutes. But the metro is also very easily accessible on foot or by bicycle, just 1.5 km away. With the metro, you can get to the heart of Rotterdam in 15 minutes! On this page you will find an overview of the nicest and most beautiful sights and activities. But of course there is much more to experience. We are happy to help you plan your ideal stay. Culture Culture lovers can indulge themselves in the area. Rotterdam is a stone's throw away, but there is much more to experience. Many historic cities in the Netherlands can be visited within 60 minutes by car. And did you know that there is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site nearby? Nature Are you fond of nature? Then our B&B is the ideal base. You can enjoy beautiful hiking and biking in the various nature reserves in the area. Sporty Our B&B also has plenty to offer for the sporty guest. There are various sports activities that you can do in the vicinity of the B&B. Food & Drink A relaxing mini-vacation also includes delicious food and drinks. Within walking distance of the B&B, you will find several restaurants where you can eat or have a drink. And of course Rotterdam is just around the corner for much more choice. Bon appetit! Wellness In the immediate vicinity of the B&B, you can find several beautiful and spacious wellness centers where you can relax. You can enjoy various saunas, steam rooms, swimming pools and beautiful gardens here. You can also completely relax here with a wonderful massage or beauty treatment. Beaches Our B&B is also an excellent base for a day at the beach. There are several beaches nearby where you can enjoy the sun. Or of course, you can enjoy a breath of fresh air!
