Mountain view -1110 masl. Beautiful mountain cabin/Haugastøl

Fjellsyn is located 1110 m above sea level and is a beautiful log cabin/granary on Haugastøl, with a stunning panorama view overlooking Ustevann and Hardangervidda National Park. Hallingskarvet is seen to the North. Here the sun is from early morning to late evening. The cabin has Rallarvegen and magical Hardangervidda as the closest neighbor. There is a short distance to Geilo and Ustaoset in the east, and Hardanger in the west. The cabin has nature right outside the door, and you can use the countless trails and tracks in the area The space The rental cabin is part of a larger log cabin. It consists of a two-storey pantry plus kitchen and spacious bathroom with bathtub. The kitchen is fully equipped. There is a fireplace on both floors, as well as panel heaters and a heat pump. You can park your car outside the cabin between June and November. In winter (November - June) the road is closed, and there is then a parking space at Riksvei 7, and it will be about 800 meters/10-15 minutes to walk to the cabin. In winter, we recommend using skis or snowshoes to get to the cabin. There can be very deep snow, and because it is not possible to see where the road goes when it is covered with snow, we recommend using e.g. GPS equipment to find your way. We will send out the coordinates to the cabin before your arrival. Most often there are snowmobile tracks and ski tracks from the parking lot and up to the cabin. We also recommend arriving during daylight hours, as it is much easier to find the cabin. If you arrive late, a headlight is recommended. There is a transport pulk available at the cabin that guests can use. There is also a snowmobile taxi in the area. If you come by train to Haugastøl station, it will take about 45 minutes to walk to the cabin. There are trails and tracks to amazing untouched nature right outside the cabin. There are also several fishing waters in the area around the cabin. Please note that the cabin is located above 1100 meters altitude, so the weather can be rough, cold and windy sometimes. Good clothes/equipment is important. It's a beautiful place, with long beautiful mountains and opportunities for long trips on skis. There are great prepared ski slopes 20 meters from the cabin that go into the mountain. We would like you to bring bed linen/towels yourself, but if this is not possible or practical, it is possible to rent this for 100 NOK per person. If you want to rent, you must inform us in advance. Duvets and pillows are of course included as standard. You have to clean the cabin before you leave so it will be ready for the next guest.
