Only 1 bathroom for 12: you have been warned. Full kitchen with dishwasher, fiber Wi-Fi, and private parking in the courtyard. 24/7 self check-in using a key box; code sent the day before. Beds made, sheets and towels provided. Access is via a staircase: be aware of this if you are traveling with heavy luggage. The space An 80 m² F4 on the upper floor of the farmhouse. Access is via a staircase — our 3 other gites are on one level if you prefer. AMENITIES Fully equipped kitchen: oven, stove, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, Dolce Gusto coffee machine, utensils. Hair dryer, fan, walk-in closet, TV, fiber WiFi, heating. Dining area and large table. There is no washing machine in the accommodation, but a dry cleaning service is available upon request (€25). THE BATHROOM 1 single bathroom, with shower and bathtub, toilet included in the same room. Consider this if you are coming as a group of 12. There are 3 other cottages in the same courtyard, and they are booked separately. Guest access The accommodation is entirely yours, with its private entrance and its space in the courtyard. It is upstairs; access is via a staircase. Self check-in via lockbox, 24 hours a day. You will receive the code and access map the day before your arrival. No appointment needed. Check in after 3pm. Check-out before 11 AM, and before 12 PM on Sundays. Free private parking in the courtyard, in front of the accommodation. Wide spaces, accessible to vans and commercial vehicles. Other things to note SOMETHING TO KNOW BEFORE BOOKING La Ferme de Mauperthuis also has a reception room, operated by a company independent of ours. Private events are possible. On those evenings, you can hear the music from the courtyard, sometimes until late. We prefer to tell you now rather than letting you find out on site. Write to us with your dates before booking: we will check and let you know what is planned. And if you are looking for the silence of a monastery, tell us frankly — we will offer you another date rather than disappoint you. PARTIES AND GATHERINGS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED IN THE ACCOMMODATIONS What happens in the reception room does not happen in our cottages. Any party, gathering, or event beyond the number of guests booked will result in the immediate termination of the stay and a report to the platform. We have experienced damage: we apply this rule without exception. Quiet hours from 11PM to 8AM. THE QUESTIONS WE ARE ASKED MOST OFTEN How many bathrooms are there? Only 1 per cottage. Le Grand Mauperthuis and L'échappée have a bathtub and a separate shower; at Le Grand Mauperthuis, the toilet is in a separate room. This is the point to consider if you come with 12 people. The 4 cottages are booked separately and are in the same courtyard: if there are several of you, book 2. How does check-in work? Completely independently, via a secure lockbox, 24 hours a day. You will receive the code and access map the day before your arrival. No one to wait for, no schedule to follow on arrival. Check-in from 3 PM, check-out before 11 AM, and before 12 PM on Sundays. Where to park? In the courtyard of the estate, in front of your accommodation. Free, on-site, without reservation. The spaces are wide: vans and commercial vehicles pass through without any problem. Is linen provided? Yes. Sheets, duvets, towels, tea towels and toilet paper are provided, and the beds are made upon your arrival. You don't need to bring anything. Is coffee provided? The Dolce Gusto machine is there, but the capsules are not provided. Remember to bring them. Are the units single-story? 3 out of 4 are: the Grand Mauperthuis, L'Orangerie, and the Studio. The country retreat is upstairs, and access is via a staircase — please note this if you are traveling with heavy luggage or if someone has difficulty getting around. Is there a washing machine? No, none of our units have them. However, a dry cleaning service is available on request (€25) — convenient for a week-long stay. Where are the restrooms? At Le Grand Mauperthuis, in a room separate from the bathroom — convenient when there are many people. At L'Échappée Champêtre, in the bathroom. At L'Orangerie and at the Studio, in the bathroom. Can we bring a dog? Yes, with a supplement per stay depending on the accommodation: 8€ for the Studio, 15€ for L'Orangerie, 20€ for Le Grand Mauperthuis and L'Échappée. Please let us know when you book. Can we have a party in the accommodation? No, never. Parties, gatherings, and events beyond the number of guests booked are strictly prohibited, with immediate termination of the stay and reporting to the platform. We have experienced damage; the rule is without exception. Can we smoke? Not inside; the detectors are sensitive. The outdoors are all yours. Is there a deposit? None: Airbnb's AirCover guarantee covers the accommodation. Is final cleaning included? Yes. We just ask that you take out the trash and start the dishwasher before leaving. The rest is for us. Can we have an invoice in the company's name? Yes, upon request. We regularly host teams on business trips, with a discounted rate for weekly and monthly stays. Can we book several gites?
