Recently upgraded and modernized cabin with ski in/ski out - surrounded by Valdres, Jotunheimen and Vestlandet's beautiful mountains and nature The cabin "Fjellgull" offers great experiences in unique Norwegian nature. The cabin is suitable for everyone, whether you want to relax or want an active holiday in the mountains! A road leads all the way up to the cabin when there is no snow; parking is 700 m (2,300 ft) away in winter. Possibility of snowmobile transport at a low extra cost. Possible to go on snowshoes/ski up. Electric car charger at grocery store 900m away. The space Property The cabin is located in an established area 916 masl in the middle of an eldorado for outdoor enthusiasts in all seasons. The cabin is surrounded by beautiful nature and wild wildlife. Sleeping arrangements The cabin has 3 bedrooms and a total of 7 beds divided into a continental bed (180cm), a family bunk bed (90cm/120cm) and a bunk bed (75cm/75cm). There are duvets and pillows available in all beds, but guests must bring their own bed linen. There are sheets that can be borrowed for the continental bed. There is a standard size for duvets and pillows. Bathroom The bathroom contains shower, toilet and sink, and also has heating cables in the floor. Hand towels and toilet paper are available in the cabin, but shower towels and soaps must be brought. Kitchen The kitchen is equipped with all necessary equipment to prepare a good meal. There is a dining table with three seats in the kitchen, and a dining area with six seats in the living room. There is a kettle, coffee maker, stove, fridge and mixer in the kitchen to mention a few. Activities and distances ❄️The cabin is located within walking/skiing distance to Tørisheisen in Tyin Filefjell ski resort. The ski resort is quite large, fun slopes for off-piste and beautiful views. The cabin is also a good starting point for randonee and cross-country skiing. As there is no winter road by the cabin, there are many opportunities for safe and fun sledding right outside the door! 🏔️Eidsbugarden is only about half an hour away with the famous Vinjerock festival in summer, and a wealth of opportunities for experiences of beautiful nature all year round. 🛤️Flåm is located 1h and 20min from the cabin, and is a popular destination for "Norway's holiday", including Flåmsbana, Rallarvegen or the longest zipline in the Nordics! ⛰️Kongevegen over Filefjell, a hiking route of 100 km through exciting nature "right" outside the door. 🫎Good opportunities for hunting and fishing in the surrounding area 🐟Fagernes with the Rakfiskfestivalen is 1h away 🍃Vindhellavegen/Borgund Stavkyrkje, a fantastic walk, with beautiful nature and a stave church out of the ordinary. Pictures in the ad. 🏃🏼‍♀️Tyn Filefjell Extreme is a half marathon that takes place in the autumn, and the track runs, among other places, in the mountains around the cabin. 🍴Right near the cabin there is a small but good selection of places to eat and drink. Filefjellstuene, the ski café and Reint bord. The latter, afterski, within walking or skiing distance from the cabin. Beitostølen and Hemsedal are both only an hour from the cabin in each direction. Both Oslo and Bergen are 3 hours and 45 minutes from the cabin. Guest access The entire cabin. Other things to note 🧹The cabin does not have a cleaning fee. It is therefore desirable that all guests leave the cabin in the same condition as you would like to find it yourself. Cleaning equipment and washing rules are available in the cabin. 🛍️Joker Tyinkrysset and Intersport Filefjell are located 900m below the cabin, both with a good selection of goods for different needs. Electric car chargers and petrol pumps are available at the shops. 📌In the event of insufficient cleaning or if additional cleaning is required beyond the expected self-cleaning, there may be a surcharge added to the price. This also applies in the event of damage to fixtures and fittings.
