Both double bedrooms feature luxurious John Lewis cotton bed linens and plush towels, ensuring a restful night’s sleep and a touch of indulgence. Whether you’re enjoying a quiet morning coffee in the cozy living area or winding down after a day of exploring, the cottage provides the ideal setting for a tranquil getaway. Inside, you’ll find a cozy main lounge with a bio-ethanol fire, perfect for curling up after a day of adventures. Please note that while a fireguard is provided, it may not be suitable for young children or babies. For families who prefer a safer option, there’s also a convenient Dimplex plug-in heater tucked under the stairs. At the front of the cottage, you’ll find a sunny spot that’s perfect for your morning coffee. A charming bench with a side table overlooks the gentle flow of the River Burn, offering a peaceful place to sit back and soak in the view. As you relax, you can admire the beautiful St Clements Church in the distance — a lovely reminder of the area’s character and charm. Families with little ones are very welcome, but please keep in mind there are no stair-gates, cot, or highchair available at the property. Hot water is provided by an immersion heater, and the bathroom features an electric shower over the bath, offering a relaxing space to unwind at the end of the day.
