For those interested in culture, a visit to the ancient Roman city of Autun (approx. 20 minutes) is a "must". A market is held there on Wednesdays and Fridays. From your terrace you have a view of Mont Beuvray, once the seat of the important ancient Celtic city "Bibracte".
