Surrounded by open countryside, within a short walk from the ancient town of Rye, with its many festivals, events, fine dining, excellent pubs and live music. Perfect for nature lovers, on the edge of the High Weald and the vast expanse of Camber Sands and sitting under dark skies. Many beautiful walks directly accessible from the property, this shipping container has been converted to a high and comfortable standard, with a quirky aesthetic, using predominantly recycled and upcycled materials! The space This is a cosy and compact, but highly unique property, as it is a converted shipping container, with its own large and private covered verandah, which acts as an al fresco living and dining room with various seating options and breakfast bar, and small private fenced garden. A perfect space for up to 2 people (and their well behaved dogs) who want a memorable stay in peace and quite surrounded by nature, but just a stone’s throw from Rye and all it has to offer. It has a very comfortable double bed, kitchen with kettle, toaster, coffee machine, induction hob and all cooking and eating utensils supplied. A romantic indoor eating area, and a large outdoor multifunctional all weather space with comfortable seating with blankets to enjoy the sunshine and the stars, outdoor table and chairs and an innovative breakfast bar and stools, to eat alfresco, firepit and a bbq available. It has a compact WC/bathroom with shower and plenty of piping hot water. Electric radiator to main space keeps it very warm. Private covered parking space Guest access The container, covered verandah and small fenced garden are exclusively yours to use and can be made totally private (except the garden, which overlooks part of my garden) Dedicated path with some lighting to the container, additional lights can be provided if necessary. I’m very relaxed and if there is anything you need, just ask! Other things to note You can walk into Rye in about 20 minutes, drive or jump on a bus which stops 5 minute walk from the property.
