Welcome to The Old Dairy at Cappagh House. A perfect rural retreat! Set in the stunning West Waterford countryside, this cosy two storey cottage is adjacent to an old stable yard built in 1800. Here you can enjoy walks around our extensive woodlands, gardens and grounds or head out to explore the surrounding area where there is plenty to do and see. We are less than 10 minutes from the famous Waterford Greenway and the buzzing coastal town of Dungarvan with several award winning restaurants. The space This cottage is ideally suited to a couple, or a family with 1 or 2 children. It small and cosy and has everything you might need for a break away, along with endless space outdoors! It is set in the heart of our farm where you are welcome to explore the many woodland walks and green fields with mature parkland trees, the old walled garden and orchard, the stable yard and haggard. Upstairs you will find a double and a twin room. The twin has one single bed and one bunk which the kids love! (Please note this bed is slightly shorter than a standard single bed.) The bedrooms are not spacious but do have enough room! The bathroom with shower (no bath) is also upstairs. Downstairs is a cosy open plan kitchen-living space with wood-burning stove. We provide logs for the stove. The Old Dairy has a lovely garden and private parking. Sorry, no pets allowed! Guest access Complete cottage will be rented on a self-catering basis. There is an adjacent barn with table tennis that guests are welcome to use. Guests are welcome to explore the gardens and grounds, private woodland and farm walks on the property.
