Regarding the first-floor indoor areas and outdoor spaces, you will have full access to all of them: the high-end kitchen, living and dining area, enclosed terrace, and, during the season, the swimming pool. You may also use the laundry area for longer stays and the parking space. Please note that the host lives in a bedroom on the first floor, which means that all first-floor and outdoor areas are shared (with the obvious exception of my private bedroom). However, your suite on the second floor is 100% private, ensuring maximum rest and privacy. During your stay How to Get to Your Retreat in Talca Step 1: Arrival in Talca (Bus Terminal) No matter which city in Chile you are traveling from (Santiago, Concepción, Osorno, etc.), all intercity bus companies (such as Turbus, Pullman Bus, Linatal, Altas Cumbres, etc.) arrive at the Lorenzo Varoli Bus Terminal in Talca (located at 12 Oriente #938). Once you arrive at the terminal, you have three easy and quick options to reach the gated community: ⸻ Option 1: The Most Comfortable and Fastest (Recommended) 🚕 Taxi or Ride-Hailing App (Uber / DiDi) • Travel time: Approximately 10 to 15 minutes (depending on traffic). • Estimated cost: Between CLP $3,500 and $5,000 (the most convenient option if you are traveling with luggage). • Instructions: Ask the driver to take you to the accommodation using the provided address. ⸻ Option 2: Public Transportation (Budget-Friendly) 🚌 City Bus (Urban Bus Service) The gated community is located in an area with easy access to public transportation. • From the terminal: Cross to the main street to catch a city bus. • Recommended routes: Line A and Line 3B. Look for buses that pass near Mall Plaza Maule or the Universidad Católica del Maule (UCM) or INACAP. • Instructions: Get off at the Alto Las Rastras shopping center bus stop. From there, cross the street at the pedestrian crossing; the gated community entrance is about half a block away. ⸻ IMPORTANT: Arrival at the Gated Community The community is gated and has 24/7 security. Upon arrival at the entrance, the security guard will ask you to register your arrival using your identification document. You will then be granted access to proceed directly to the house, where self check-in is available via an electronic lock (the access code will be sent to you prior to your arrival).
