On our organic vineyard, in a wing of our Charentais farm, while being just a short distance from Jonzac, the THERMAL BATHS, and “LES ANTILLES.” You will enjoy peace and quiet there, surrounded by vineyards and historic buildings! Also ideal for a spa treatment, as it is 5 minutes from the Chaîne Thermale du Soleil spa complex. (The rate is advantageous for a long spa stay thanks to the weekly discount) The space On the ground floor, you will find a very cozy kitchen-living room. A very comfortable sofa and a fully equipped kitchen where we've tried to think of everything (large oven, induction cooktop, fridge-freezer, microwave, coffee maker, pressure cooker, toaster, hairdryer, laundry area with dishwasher and washing machine, etc.). Free WiFi internet access. The upstairs bedrooms are attic, with oak beams (this has a lot of charm nonetheless). There is a double bed in 160x200 in one bedroom. A double bed in 140 x 200 and a single bed 90 x 190 in the other bedroom. The total floor area of the cottage is approximately 70 m². It is perfect for up to 4 or 5 people. Bedding is provided and included. Electricity, water, heating included as well. The library is full of comics and novels for all ages, documents about the area. Our children's toys and books will be at your disposal, just let us know the ages and tastes of your little ones. You will have at your disposal a large garden, a terrace, and a BBQ/grill next to a large ash tree. Garden table and furniture, plus outdoor games. The vacation rental is in one wing of the farmhouse; it is adjoining our house and another vacation rental located in another wing. However, everyone has their own garden and outdoor terrace. You can meet in the courtyard or on the driveway. Everyone is happy to be quiet here! The property is on our vineyard in organic conversion. Winemakers and distillers on our family estate, there will always be someone to make you discover our winery in Cognac, our vineyard, the harvest in September/October, the Cognac distillation from November to early February and our summer activities. The Petite Barrière is not fenced and the house is at the end of an alley, not at the side of the road: the wide open spaces to you! Guest access Free access. We do not have an electric vehicle charging station. Our electrical system is not suitable, so we do not allow this. However, we will point out the charging points in Jonzac. We kindly ask you to make the cottage as clean as you enjoyed finding it on arrival. If you wish, there is the possibility of requesting end-of-stay cleaning for a fee of 60 euros, to be paid on site.
