On our organic vineyard, in a wing of our Charentais farm, while being a stone's throw from Jonzac, the THERMAL BATHS and "LES ANTILLES". You'll be quiet there! The space The cottage is located in the middle of our vineyards in organic farming, in a wing of our farm Charente stone. Five minutes from the Antilles of Jonzac and the Baths, Chaîne Thermale du Soleil. If you wish to do a cure in Jonzac, you are also welcome. Our vineyard, therefore the one around the house, is managed using organic farming. The winter come discover the distillation of Cognac and our alembic by our side. On the ground floor, a very warm kitchen lounge. A soft sofa, and an equipped kitchen where we tried hard not to forget anything. The library is well filled with comic books and novels for all ages, with documents about the region. The toys, board games and books of our children will be at your disposal, just let us know the ages and tastes of your little ones. There is a large garden, a terrace, a barbecue/ plancha next to a large ash. Games outside too. The rooms upstairs are attic, with oak beams (it has a lot of charm nevertheless). There is a double bed in 160 x 200 in one room. A double bed in 140 x 200 and a single bed 90 x 190 in the other room. The total area of the cottage is approximately 70m2, 10 of which are under 180. (attic rooms) We don’t have air conditioning but fans. You will have heard everything you need to cook. The cottage is in a wing of the farm, it is adjacent to our house and another cottage. However, everyone has their own garden and outdoor terrace. The property is on our vineyard in organic conversion. Winemakers and distillers on our family estate, there will always be someone to help you discover our cellar in Cognac, our vineyard, the grape harvest in September/October, the distillation of Cognac from November to early February and our summer activities. The Petite Barrière is not fenced and the house is at the end of an alley, not by the road: to you the great spaces! Our "Petite Barrière", of 65 m 2 on two levels can accommodate up to 5 people: Upstairs, two attic rooms with exposed beams. On the ground floor a large bright and functional living room. On the ground floor: a large kitchen room, living room. a shower room. independent toilet. Upstairs 2 attic rooms: Room 1: a bed 160 x 200. Room 2: a bed 140 x 190 and a bed 90 x 190. The garden is decorated with our centennial ash, you will find an independent terrace, a stone barbecue with garden furniture and deckchairs. Equipment: Free WIFI internet access television, washing machine, dishwasher, induction hobs, fridge freezer, microwave, oven, Senseo, coffee maker, pressure cooker, toaster, hair dryer... Winegrowers living in another adjoining wing of our farm in Charente, it is with pleasure that we will introduce you to our property and the secrets of Cognac. Bed linen is provided and included. Electricity, water, heating also included. We draw your attention to the staircase to access the rooms. We do not have the possibility to put a security barrier at the bottom. The cottage is non-smoking (inside) and pets are not allowed. For information if you come to two families, you have the possibility to also rent another adjoining cottage, it is the Gite Le Mimosa. Other things to note Our cottage is located in the countryside and is not fenced. We do not have an electric car charging station. notte electrical installation is not suitable so we do not allow it. However, we will indicate the charging points in Jonzac. We thank you for kindly making the cottage as clean as you liked to find it upon arrival. If you wish, there is the possibility to request the end of stay cleaning for an amount of 70 euros to be paid on site.
