Kieke Wiet is a historic, rural vacation home for up to 6 people with 2 bedrooms and a total area of approx. 75 square meters (807 square feet). Fenced, enclosed property with parking. The romantic Friesenhuus "Kieke Wiet" (flat German for "wide view") is a lovingly restored Friesenkate with very special charm. It is located in the quiet, picturesque Warfendorf Manslagt, only about 4 km from Greetsiel and about 1.5 km from the North Sea dyke. Surrounded by old farms, the historic church with freestanding bell tower and small alleys with rustic Frisian houses, you can experience real East Frisian village idyll here. Built in the 18th century and carefully modernized, the cottage offers a successful combination of historical character and modern living comfort. The old wooden beams and traditional slices give the house its special charm, while high-quality equipment ensures relaxing vacation days. On the ground floor is the cozy living area with fireplace and TV, which creates a cozy atmosphere, especially on cooler days. The kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, fridge freezer, toaster, stove, oven and all the main cooking utensils – here you can prepare your favorite dishes comfortably. Adjacent, the small dining room with farmer's corner invites you to eat and linger together. Also on the ground floor are the bedroom with romantic farmhouse bed (about 1.35 m wide, can also be used on request for a 6th person) as well as the bathroom with walk-in shower and hairdryer. A steeper staircase leads to the attic, where there is a spacious bedroom with a double bed (1.80 x 2.00 m) and two single beds (0.80 x 2.00 m each). Here, too, a small, additional TV provides comfort. All rooms are bright and friendly – on the first floor with a tile floor, upstairs with cozy wooden floorboards. The most important windows are provided with screens and blackout options. The fenced garden with garden furniture, parasol, sun loungers and barbecue invites you to relax and offers a magnificent view over the meadows. A storage shed for bicycles is also available and Wi-Fi is of course available (We do not guarantee for full availability and sufficient speed.). A car parking space is right by the house. Up to 2 dogs are also welcome at "Kieke Wiet" – it's just a few steps to the next field. Please note: The historic Friesenhaus was built around 1770, so some ceilings are lower than in modern houses. However, the special charm of the old building makes the "Kieke Wiet" a unique retreat – perfect for anyone looking for peace, coziness and the real East Frisian flair.
